I was calling to make reservations for a character breakfast. This is the first time I have ever done one with my family and when I called to book a time for Chef Mickeys, they were completely full. I took the suggestion of trying Ohana's character breakfast and made a reservation for it. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect there? My 3 year old is a huge Mickey fan so we wanted a breakfast where she could enjoy seeing him. Thanks for any information you may have.

I went to both in April and preferred 'Ohana over Chef Mickeys. Better Food, better atmosphere, great characters. I don't have kids, but if I did, or if I took my nieces, I would choose 'Ohana over Chef Mickeys!

Been to 'Ohana about four times..I always recommend it for folks with kids 0-12....

They bring out wonderful family meals (I've been for breakfast) including eggs, sausage, fruit, etc...

Whatever your family eats the most of...will be refilled ...you won't go hungry...

The Characters....Minnie, MIckey, LIlo, Stitch, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale....will entertain... autographs, etc.

The CM's do a Limbo contest, and a Mariachi Parade...all of the little kids have a WONDERFUL time......

Great to hear! We have dinner here every year, though this will be the first time we are trying breakfast and looking forward to it;)

Good to know! We are going to Disney in about 8 weeks .....so excited! I have heard mixed reviews on Chef Mickey's which we have ADR's for. We plan on going with an open mind, and hope it lives up to all the Disney excellence I am used to....but hey everyone has off days. However, we cannot WAIT for Ohana.....We are Lilo and Stitch fanatics in this family...YAY!

Our family really enjoyed it (DH, myself, DD 8, DD8, DS 6 1/2). We just ate there 5/14. We openend MK on an early EMH day and left the park on the monorail for a 10:30 breakfast. For us, it was "brunch" and we didn't need lunch that day.

We had Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch that day. They gave us leis and took our family's photo (not included in price) prior to seating us. The kids paraded around and had fun. The character interaction was very good. Lilo led the parade and Mickey came to our table twice. Stitch took extra time to pose for some really cute photos.

There was GREAT breakfast pineapple sweet bread and cinnamon bread on the table. Later we were given a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon (very crisp!), sausage, and GREAT potato wedges. They also came around with Mickey waffles.

We somehow got missed when they delivered the fruit, but I asked our server and she was very apologetic and brought two platters. The juice is also unique to other places--a guava and OJ blend. Our kids didn't love it, but she brought milk for them very quickly.

All in all a nice meal. We had fun and it was a nice break during a hot day. I would go back!

Enjoy your trip! I wish we could go back now!

This is exactly what we want to do, get the 10:30 and use it as brunch. How long did it take you to get there from MK? Thanks!

We love the 'Ohana character breakfast! (Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch). My kids like both, but I actually prefer 'Ohana over CM. Especially love the juice and the bread and the fact that it is one less buffet line to stand in. :goodvibes

We took the monorail right to the Poly from MK. I think it was the 2nd or 3rd stop. The kids enjoyed going through the Contempory. Going back to MK was just as quick. I would guess maybe 10 min. transit time each way. (plus waiting for the monorail) It worked out well!
