Good day fellow travelers, I am taking my family on a 4n Land/4n Sea Disney vacation in Early December, which happens to coincide with my DD 3rd B-Day. We are staying at the Poly and I have made ps reservations at Ohana's for breakfast on the morning of her birthday. I am just curious as to the experiences, good or bad, that some of you would like to share. I want her day to be as special as possible and I know that I am setting the bar pretty high for a 3 yo but its worth it. So please let me know what you think of Ohana's Character breakfast and if they do anything special for a birthday. Thanks in advance.

We did O'Hana's a few weeks ago. It was fun, DD liked the little parade around the room. The character interaction seemed very rushed though. The food was good not great.

I've done Ohana for breakfast and thought it was just ok. I don't know what they do for birthdays. DD4 celebrated her birthday this year at 1900 Park Fare and it was fabulous. When we were seated, there was an autographed placemat at her spot as well as a tiara. The characters gave her a ton of attention and our server brought out her cupcake just as Alice came over. Alice sang her "happy birthday." It was so great. Since you are staying at the Poly, it would be a short monorail ride to get to the GF. It was the best character meal we have had at WDW. 1900 Park Fare also has much more of a selection of food since it is buffet rather than family style. At Ohana, the characters came around only once and were very brief. At 1900 Park Fare, they came around multiple times. Just a suggestion for you...

we've had breakfast at both places... loved the food at both... character interaction was great at both... if your dd is "brave" and outgoing and likes a little spotlight, and will participate in the parade, i am sure she will love it! if she's more laid back and doesn't want as much hullaballoo, but rather a "finer" attention (i.e. special placemat), then i'd say go for park fare!
