Thanks to anyone willing to read and help!

I'm trying to plan our day. We have breakfast reservations at 'Ohana at 8:45 on a Sunday morning. We are visiting local friends that day afterwards-no parks. I'm just trying to figure out what time we might be done. Would it be appropriate to plan for about 1 hour there?

Also, if we arrive at 8:30, how likely are we to be seated early? I am fine if not at all, I'm just wondering if it is worth it!

Thanks!

First off, we LOVED 'Ohana for breakfast- everything about it! And by no means are we morning OR breakfast people. We did have a VERY excited 4 year old little girl with us, who was quite the motivator. The coffee was great, breads/pastries great, eggs great- everything fresh and delicious. My daughter couldn't stop talking about the fresh fruit drink they serve. I had to ask for toothpicks to prop my eyes open at that hour (just kidding) but the coffee was strong and perfect enough to get me through!

We had 7:30 AM reservations, the very first of the day. Obviously we were seated right away- I would give yourself an hour for breakfast. You might be done in 45 minutes, if you are in a rush---- they bring breakfast more as a platter- as opposed to a buffet where you get up to get your own food. I find this saves time, and it's fresh. As you enter the restaurant you can see the Mickey waffles being made. And man, do they smell INCREDIBLE. Everything comes out fast, it's just a matter of where you're seated in terms of the characters making their way around.

And, just like dinner, there is a bit of entertainment with the characters leading a little dance thing with the kids around the restaurant. SO CUTE.

Enjoy! It was our first time EVER having breakfast at WDW, and because of our experience at 'Ohana, it's a must-do going forward.

Thank you! I was already excited but that just upped my excitement level! I was hoping it would be a worthwhile experience for us. We have 4 breakfast reservations for that week but 'Ohana will be our first disney breakfast experience as well!

I love Ohana breakfast- we like to end our trip there. Last Sunday we had an 820am reservation. We were seated around 830am. We were there for about an hour after being seated- we lucked out and saw the characters fairly quickly. The service was great, the characters were awesome, and the food was excellent- all very fresh.

This is really helpful, thank you!

Do you think if we arrive early....like 8:15 for our 8:25 reservation we might get seated on time?

It can't hurt to try... We've actually had good luck checking in early at Ohana for breakfast and have been seated before our ADR on a couple of occasions.

Why wouldn't you be there the suggested 15 minutes ahead of the ADR time? That might help things even more.

I would say so. The first seating is at 7:30. So if those people are done eating by 8:15 or so, you should get seated right away.

This is always one of our favorites. The other are right..the characters have always been pretty quick to our tables. So you can either eat and be on your way or sit and take your time and enjoy and still be happy either way. The food is so great, the characters are fun and the atmosphere is relaxed and not overly loud or crowded. Can't wait to get back there! Enjoy!

I didn't realize we should be there 15 minutes early....this is my first time eating in a Disney restaurant! Thanks for the help.

nothing to add but did this in september 2014 and loved it. It is on the kiddo's request of repeats for december.
