I was hoping someone could give me their opinion on the Ohana "Lilo and Stitch" breakfast. I have 2 kids 8 and 10 and really never thought about going until recently. We are going to WDW in Aug.. Could anyone compare it w/ the Park Fare or Chef Mickey breakfast? Any opinions would be wonderful! Thanks!

Hi

I took DD5 in June. I let her choose the places we would eat. We did Ohana and Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

Ohana is a family-style all you care to eat meal. They bring the food on a platter and you can get more of any items you would like. There is fruit and sweet breads on the table when you sit down. There is a parade with the characters and children at various times around the resturant. When you get there you can have your picture taken. During our visit Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch cirulated the room each stopping at our table for pictures and autographs. The food was good and the service was wonderful.

DD was on a fruit and milk kick - all she would eat was fruit so the server kept her stocked with fruit.

Chef Mickey's is an all you care to eat buffet. Again when you get there you can have your picture taken. Goofy stayed in one place and Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale circulated for photos and autographs. There was no parade, but you do dance and swing your napkin in the air. We had a late ADR so it was more of a brunch for us. WE missed the sweet rolls. The food was good. I was not happy with the service. We saw our server to take our drink order and then again with the bill. I voiced my concern, I am a big tipper and will tip according to service received. Being on the DDP, 18% was automatically added to all meals, I tipped extra at Ohana, not at CMs.

We are going back in the Spring with the grandparents, I would do Ohana again. I'd like to try CMs for dinner. DD5 enjoyed both places.

Hope this was helpful.

We always go to Ohana's for breakfast on the last morning before leaving wdw.

My oldest DD, who is 7, loves stitch. My othertwo DDs, 3 and 2, love Mickey so that makes them happy with the meal.

All three enjoy the morning march through the resturant with shakers with the other kids and all the charcters. Oldest DD always makes sure her little sisters get shakers when we first get there so it is a noisy place. Again good for us because youngest DD is a loud mess. Cute as can be but LOUD.

The food is great and they dont rush you at all. All the girs love the fruit and I enjoy the links. The also have really great freash breads that they serve.

But the main reason DW and I love to go there is the view. Unless you are seated in the small front portion of the resturant, only happened to us once, you will have a great view of the magic kingdom, bay lake, GF, and CR. It a good cap to a vacation. After breakfast we usually ride the monorail once round then head to the van for the trip home.

Last reason we love Ohana's view is you can also see the small hill top where DW and I got married back in 95. So our family really loves everything Poly.

I think you would enjoy it, I know we do. Ohana's for dinner is good too.
