Ohana Breakfast vs Ohana Dinner

Ohana dinner is my family favorite. Even though breakfast and dinner there are different experiences

We always do both! Our favs! Daughter still wants character meal, even at 14, and gives everyone a hot meal in the morning. Dinner is just a family adventure and delicious. Just ate there last weekend.fresh, hot, and plenty of food. Not rushed at all. Perfection!

I’m wondering if over the year some new opinions emerged on this subject. I’m leaning towards dinner But I find the idea of breakfast totally charming

So many mixed reviews on dinner. I have one evening that I am debating between Ohana, liberty tree tavern or whispering canyon cafe.

Ohana dinner is a must do for us every trip. We love it. Most people that complain say the meat wasn't cooked to their liking (typically they say overcooked). But, you can request it cooked to your liking so I think that's on them. We have been very happy with it every time, though it has been a few years since I've gone. Breakfast was good too, but it's just breakfast food. Nothing super special. That said, we are doing both on our next trip. We are staying at Poly, so why not?

We've done both and like both. The most recent changes I've seen for breakfast was the removal of bacon and the addition of ham. I'm a bacon gal, so not happy about that one. Also Stitch was moved to outside the restaurant rather than going to each table. You might want to look around here to see if these are still happening.

For dinner, Lipoa no longer performs. I really liked her and glad we saw her in May. We are doing another dinner for May 2018 trip.

I thought the breakfast food at Ohana was horrible. It looked and tasted like they took a little bit of everything from the All Stars food court breakfast and threw it in a pan. The scrambled eggs are from powder, the potatoes were hard as rocks, and everything was cold.

OTOH, my family and I love Ohana’s dinner. We try to dine there every trip. It’s the whole package—food, drinks, atmosphere and entertainment are all fantastic. Dinner is about 900 times better than breakfast.

We love doing both! They are two very different meals and experiences.

While I do agree that they are two different experiences, I personally wouldn't do both in the same trip when there are so many other good restaurants to experience at WDW. If I were to drop one of the meals, it would be Ohana breakfast - same mediocre breakfast food you can find anywhere else in WDW, we thought the selection was limited considering the price and how it compares to buffets where there are many more options, and we found the servers were too busy to bring us more of something when we wanted it. So we just prefer character buffets.

We’ve done both and really enjoyed both. They are very different so I don’t think doing both in 1 trip would be overkill.

If I had to drop one, it would be breakfast just because as others have said it’s your basic breakfast- eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles.

We’ve done both on one (long) trip before and it was fine. We LOVE o’Hana dinner (must do every trip). We probably won’t do breakfast again though, despite our love for Lilo/stitch/stitch waffles..... the food is really bad at breakfast and they are always sooo backed up

The are completely different animals and both are worth doing. My family likes the dinner so much we eat there twice every trip and my daughter wants one of our breakfasts on our next trip there as well.

We enjoy both. My DH loves that the breakfast is served family-style. No walking to the buffet. Save the walking for the parks!

I try to schedule the meals at far ends of our trip. Dinner might be on Saturday night and breakfast next Friday.

You can’t go wrong with either meal.
