Hi All,
Trying to work out my dining and I am worrying that I won't be able to get the BoG dinner I want, so trying to come up with a backup.
In the second half of my split stay I am switching from BWV to Poly villas on a wednesday and using the last of my DxDDP credits that wednesday (everything after will be OOP). Doing the first half of the day at Epcot with breakfast at Garden Grill for 2TS. I had been planning to do Ohana on that night, basically move our stuff to poly, get an early dinner (3:45-4pm), make sure our luggage is in the room then go to MK for the wednesday night non party night activities (MSEP and regular wishes I hope!) then the following day half day at AK then to MK for an early (4pm or so) BoG (oop) dinner and the xmas party.
I was thinking maybe as a backup I could do Narcoosses at 5pm on wednesday night (there would still be time to get a good seat for MSEP) using my last 2TS for the adult meal and paying OOP for my kid's $9 mac and cheese and dessert (he won't touch any of the appetizers with a 10 foot pole anyway) and then pay OOP for Ohana the night before the party, again a 3:45 dinner.
We have parkhoppers so I am not concerned with getting the full value of the party ticket by showing up right at 4pm... if we have dinner at ohana right at opening we'd still get there plenty early I think.
Because of the dxddp situation it would basically cost me maybe $30 more OOP to pay for kid's meal at narcooosees with dessert OOP (and get a really nice meal for myself of course, lobster all the way - which with appetizer is way better use of 2 credits than ohana for adult + kid) and pay for ohana oop (vs. paying for BoG oop). So the cost of switching narcoosses for BoG (and swapping days) is negligible IMO.
what would you do? Go to MK early for a 4pm reservation at BoG or do Ohana on the party night and go to Narcoossees the night before?
