Ohana ADRs!!!!

I think between my hubby and I, we have spent more than 12 cumulative hours hitting refresh or on the phone trying to get Ohana ADRs for our trip next week!

It has been a WHOLE DECADE since I have been able to eat at Ohana's because we have been unsuccessful in getting an ADR our last 2 trips, despite hours of trying and starting to try at the very first second possible! The thought of missing it yet again is making me so sad :-(.

Anyone know how to make miracles happen and somehow get an Ohana dinner reservation for a party of 7? At this rate, I am thinking most people must book it every day of the week for their vacation as placeholders or something crazy like that!

When are you going? Somebody just posted in the September canceled adr thread they're canceling a few ohana reservations. Try to coordinate with them.

You can also set up res finder alerts.

Under restaurants. Then under reservations. Each month has their own thread. Pm people to coordinate them dropping and you grabbing.

'Ohana - Mon 9/11 - 4:05pm
'Ohana - Tues 9/12 - 4pm

Unfortunately, we have 7 in our party :-(. I saw that when I went over there to take a look and my heart started racing!! Those dates fit!! Then I noticed it was only for two :-/

Set up finders on touring plans and mouse dining

With touring plans, if you miss the alert you have to go in and restart the search. It stops searching after that. You can have two free ones going at once.

Mouse dining you can have 6 free ones going.

I also save the numbers in my phone. Assign it it's own ringtone and jump as soon as I get an alert.

Done and done!!! Now just waiting. I am just so thankful I found out all this NOW instead of after the trip. Won't the bulk of cancelations for next week be coming likely this week as people are firming up their plans? That is what I am hoping.

Wow! I am astounded!!!!! I JUST got an ADR for Ohana's for 3:45 (a decent time!!!!!!!) while we are there. I think posting this must have boded well for making it happen.......finally!!! It conflicts with a fast pass we have for Indiana Jones at HS that day, but oh well. Ohana's is worth it, and we will keep the finder notices on so if something later comes up, we can take that. And now I know to post here on the cxl reservation thread if indeed I will be cancelling!
