Oh, Weight Watchers People.......

How are you following the Weight Watchers Plan?

  • I go to Weight Watchers Meetings Each Week

  • I'm doing it on my own with old material from another time when I was on Weight Watchers

  • I'm doing it on my own with information a friend gave me

I was just wondering how everyone is following weight watchers, so I thought I would take a poll.:)

Thanks

I go to the meetings each week to help keep me in line. I love going in there and hearing that I've lost SOMETHING. (Plus, I know that their scales are MUCH more accurate than mine!) I need this board, I need WW, I need anything I can get for encouragement and to keep me on the program!!

I'm doing it on my own with materials I bought a couple of years ago, back when the system was "1, 2, 3 Success" (I think!). I've never gone to a meeting, but my mom, sil and I joined just to get the materials (sil has gone to meetings off and on).

I did join WW Online last year after our cruise (those pictures - oy!) but am back to doing it on my own and coming here for accountability and support. It's going OK for me! :teeth:

I've gotta have those meetings.

I seem to need to be accountable to someone, and I have lots of friends at my meeting who I love to see!

I did WW (going to the meetings) a few years ago, and lost about 50 pounds. Made lifetime, was so proud of my achievement. Figured I knew everything I needed to know, stopped going to the meetings and thought I would just do it on my own... and over the years I slipped.

6 years and 70 pounds later, I'm doing it all again. This time I won't forget about the "maintenance" part of the plan!

And I plan on being qualified and worthy of dispensing that information this time, Terry!!! :teeth:

I used to attend the meetings and I was pretty successful but I have found that as long as I am accountable weekly to someone other than myself I can do pretty well and I save that money every week. The WISH is a wonderful substitute to WW meetings and the weigh-in each week is all the accountability that I need.

I don't go to the meetings any longer, just can't seem to get there with the kids and homeschooling. I have the material for the point system and it has really helped to have PM buddies along with everyone in this group to help keep me accountable. Off to the treadmill, have a great day!

This is the 4th time I've joined WW in the last 4 years. Each time I start then think I can do this on my own........... and guess what. I don't do it. I'm held accountable if I keep it in my head that I'm going to go get weighed in each week. Whether or not I stay for the meeting giong and getting weighed makes all the difference for me. So this time I refuse to quit or to try it on my own. I'm sticking with the program and getting weighed weekly. I already signed up for my 9 weeks and will keep signing up and paying for them in advance so I have to go! :)

I started doing it on my own again with materials from when I used to be an official member.
