oh...this vacation better be worth it!

In order to go on vacation, I have so much work to get done at work! I hate to leave stuff for my replacement, who will be doing her job and mine. I work a mere 3.9 hours a day (note: just under 4 hours a day, so they don't have to offer benefits.) But I didn't realize that I've been accumulating vacation days. 2 years ago, after being in this job for 13 years, I was told to whittle down my vacation days. Since my job is to make copies for HS teachers, and I gave them plenty of notice, NOW they pile it on! Guess who won't be working only 3.9 hours today and tomorrow!?

But, then we leave on Sunday morning for 10 days at WDW!!

LOL, at least you know they'll still needs you when you get back. If you haven't ever taken a vacation, I'm sure the staff will miss your presence.

And if the other person can't do both jobs.... well it'll be waiting for you when you get back.

LOL, I say that before EVERY vacation! I'm never REALLY on vacation because I'm always on call and my job is mostly online... ugh... nature of the beast!

At least you have someone who does your job for you while you are gone! My work just piles up on my desk. So, I take a week off, but work 2 weeks in one to catch up when I'm back. We leave Thursday and I'm trying to do as much as I can ahead of time.

I think most will agree that by the time you get to vacation you need it because you have to do so much before you leave. Just reember if you have to stay late, after you leave work that day you will then be at Disney for 10 days and will not have to think about work! Have a wonderful time.
