I didn't even THINK of this...but two times in the last week I had scrambled eggs and used MILK :( :( I'm on the Atkins and I KNOW I can't have milk and have been SO good at avoiding it, but it was just second nature those two times *sigh* I am so sad...how bad did this set me back?

I'm not on Atkins, but wanted to say it is just like any other program. You slipped up so you just pick up and move on, no reason to beat yourself up over it. Today is a new day! :)

I don't know if this will help because I am doing WW but I just saw a comercial for a Atkins friendly hood milk that only has 3 carbs..

Don't be to hard on yourself that was a small set back today is a new day!!!

Sorry for the cliche but no need to cry over spilled milk. It's not like you accidentally ate a hot fudge sundae. You'll be fine. Kell is right - lesson learned, today is a new day. I ate nuts during induction not realizing they weren't on the list and still lost weight. It takes time to learn new habits. You can do it.

you couldn't have gotten THAT much milk in your eggs. And if you still want to use some milk, just use heavy cream instead. You would probably only use a tablespoon so that would be one carb. No problem! You might need to add a little water to the cream. If you try it, let me know how it turned out. :)

I can find the hood milk in the dairy case right next to the regular milk and boy is it good
it comes in I think skim, 1%, & chocolate.
my daughter drinks the chocolate milk and loves it doesn't even know the difference

LOL @ "It's not like you accidentally ate a hot fudge sundae"

I agree with everyone else - it's happened, now you will just remember to stay away from milk. Sounds like you're doing awesome, regardless of your little slip up! Good for you!!! :)

Milk is about 1.5 g of carbs per ounce, which is .75 g per tablespoon.

Before you put enough milk into your eggs to ruin your Atkins diet, you'd have egg *soup* instead of scrambled eggs!
You couldn't have put all that much milk in.

I use unsweetened soymilk as my milk subsitute. It has about 5 g carbs per cup, but at least 2 or 3 of those are fiber. I like it a lot better than the new carb-reduced milks. If I'm drinking it straight, I add sucralose and vanilla.

I tried to post before, but my computer puked on me!

I have made scrambled eggs with water, and you should all try it sometime! I don't think I will ever go back! They turned out perfect...fluffy and tasty. My friend's dad works as a chef in a restaurant up here, an excellent cook, and he also uses water. Give it a whirl!

Mmmmmm...eggs sound great! Maybe in the morning!
