I heard from Stitchs Girl that Lion King Show is finished on January 4th 2009!:scared1:

No point in me going now!;) But I suppose I better to keep the family company!!

As far as I know its only for low season and nothing is going in its place for us January lot!:sad2: How oh how am I going to warm up now?;)

Its a real shame - I wonder if audience numbers are dwindlng?

My suggestions for alternative warm spots are:

Pirates - and especially if it's quiet and they let you go round twice.
Deli on Main Street - hot choc with cream - yes please!
IASW - sing along enthusiastically whilst clapping will both warm your hands and heart!

LOL I was going to suggest Mickeys Winter Wonderland - but that only makes you colder :lmao: !

its like having a barn dance in the snow isn't it?:rotfl:

Ruthiebabie, I love the idea of your second suggestion!:woohoo:

I am so gonna have to double up on my primark thermals!:lmao:

Awww yeah I heard about that a little while ago which made me more determained to see the show properly on our visit just gone, which we did and WOW!! It was amazing. I'm so glad I got to see it, i've always been a fan of the Lion King and wanted to see the musical. It's a shame its ending but I guess it cant go on forever lol. I'm sure I read somewhere that there will be another show in place but I'm not sure what or when it would start.

Stitch Live will let your warm up - and if its really cold, Stitch live shows every 15 minutes or so all through the day.

Add Animagique, Cinemagique, and the Art of Animation - and if you get really baltic weather, you could end up spending quite a lot of your time in the Studios :goodvibes

Oh cheers I totally forgot about Stitch live! (don't tell Aveen!:rotfl: )

Can't believe Lion King is finishing:sad1: . We've been four times and not seen it yet! It's always been closed. Will def need to make this a priority this time.

Ooooo I forgot about Cine and Ani magique - I've fallen asleep in Animagique before now because I kept my parka on and was so cosy.

Or sit on the left hand side of the tram as you go through Catastrophe Canyon on the Studio tram tour - you get an instant blast of heat then.

Slightly OT but I've also seen the Lion King stage show in London - took my breath away - at the start the animals come down the aisle of the theatre including an elephant. Just fantastic.
