I'm sure he has it because he's making piggy noises while he eats. Should I take him to the doctor? I don't think he'll appreciate the nasal flu swab test. I knew I shouldn't have taken him to the petting zoo. Those pigs are NOT serious about their personal hygiene.

Really bad taste. There are kids here in ICU and on ECMO and you are making jokes. Hope you get your laughs.

:rotfl: Thank you, I am really not feeling well tonight (running a fever, body aches blah blah blah) and that made me giggle!!!

I think its funny. Gave me a laugh. I have 2 pugs who sound that way when they eat.
I just got back from the hospital from taking my grandma off of life support. Life is about the laughter, she would haved laughed.
Thank you.

OP, you are now 2 for 2. You made two sad people happy, and two happy people sad :confused3 :rotfl:

Well...i thought it was funny. Every board that I am on is so serious with all the H1N1 threads, and we had it in my house about 6 wks ago. I needed a little humor.

I certainly hope otherwise happy people wouldn't turn suddenly sad over a meaningless post on a message board. I can see that not all people find the same things humorous, but to actually make them sad?
Meh...it was funny to me, and not aimed at anyone ( AND I might add not even making fun of symptoms,) so sorry if some people don't like it.

MagicMom I was the one that said they were sad, I don't know if they are sad, I was just looking for a nicer word so they wouldn't go after me for laughing :rolleyes1

i thought it was very funny.. at first i was oh no now my dogs... then i busted out laughing !!!!

it was just a joke...

Well it's good to know not everyone hates me. LOL

I thought it was funny. :thumbsup2
Some people have no sense of humor, don't sweat it.
My dog does the same thing. She gets so into her meal that she starts snorting. It's actually quite funny.

Hmmm.... because I don't happen to find this thread funny I don't have a sense a humor? :confused3

OK!

You don't have to find it funny, but it's not in bad taste either. The last time I checked making pig noises was not a symptom of swine flu. It was a joke, nothing more.

Laughter is the best medicine after all. ;)

I actually DID give my dog the swine flu...she guarded over me when I was sick, and then her cough came on...the vet said it was most likely H1N1, and it is entirely possible I gave it to her. She was fine in about a week.

That is what I get for having such a loyal dog....

(and no, I'm not joking!)

Of course not. But the title of the thread is ... Oh No! My dog has swine flu!!!

And I do understand the OP was making a joke.

I hope you are both feeling better.
