Don't have a daughter but they do MUCH better hair than the BBB. My opinion of course. Saw a girl at Disneyland and her mom said it was done at Libby Lu. It was gorgeous. She had on the Enchanted costume as well and she just really looked like a princess. . .beautiful.

Sorry to hear that it is closing.

Well, I have three girls and I would be glad to see it go. Way over priced for the low quality merchandise they sell - probably why they are going out of business.

My DD will be so sad. She loves CLL. I'm surprised that they're closing all the stores. Ours is always packed, especially on weekends.

Well between Limted Too and Libby Lu closing my dd will never want to go to the mall again.
Its good for my wallet but I certainly feel bad for all those who will lose their jobs.

Some of the LTD2 stores will become Justice stores, but some will be closing all together.

We had a birthday party for my youngest DD there a couple of years ago, and the girls loved it. I'm sorry that they are closing, she will miss it.

As for Limited Too, I will not miss that place at all. It is way over rated and expensive. I used to spend way to much money in there with my oldest DD, until I realized what a joke it was. My 10 year old isn't that crazy about it, thank goodness. She had rather shop in the stores that my older DD likes.

While I'm sorry they are closing and people are losing their jobs I personally couldn't stand that store. Luckily, we've only been there once and that was because SIL insisted for DD's birthday few years ago.

We got an email that today & tomorrow they are offering their makeovers for $10 instead of $25 - it is a hike to get to the CLL by us but I might take my 3 girls!

I can't answer your question, but I have to agree with you! My DD had four girls there for her 7th. It was about the same price I just spent for a big home party with meal for my four year old! Plus, she only had four thank you notes to write!!

The article said stores would be closing BY May. I'd just call your local store and find out. They'd probably be open for the holiday season.

They are pretty reasonable-- my daughter was a flower girl and to get her hair done at a salon would have cost over $60 for an updo. I just got the $25 package and she got a goody bag too!

I'm sad for the emloyees who will lose their jobs and for the little girls who enjoyed fun there, but the LL location near me, honestly, I will be GLAD to see go.

The times we were in the mall and saw parties going on, those little girls came out dressed like glittery hookers, danced like Brittney Spears, and had men hanging around looking at them in all the wrong ways. It broke my heart to see such young girls being taught and encouraged to dress and act so inappropriately. I wish they would do Little House on the Prarie or American Girl parties instead, teach little girls the joys of graceful, intelligent femininity.

No offense at all to those who have enjoyed LL with their dd's, I do think the stores vary in different parts of the country.
