Oh No! Let my Kohl's Cash Expire

$20 in Kohl's cash down the tubes. Knew exactly what I wanted to purchase. Planned to dash in to buy it after putting the baby to bed. I do late-night chores after the kid is asleep. Takes a lot less time to grocery shop at 10-11PM on a worknight, and takes a lot less time with 2 kids under 2 years old as they are sleeping while I am out. Well, the 1 year old is still all out of whack with his schedule due to Spring Forward time. Putting him down took 2 hours of heartache and struggle. Finally got him snoring at 8:45, and my Kohl's closed at 9. If I only would have sent the sitter out with my $20 ... but I never dreamed it would take that long to get him down. Seriously bummed...

I did that back in December so I understand! I did read that if you go to Customer Service they will sometimes help you out. I was too wimpy to try that, but maybe it would work?

Yup as long as it was only one day past they would probably be fine with letting you use it but you do have to go to customer service.

Go to customer service but don't delay, they are one of the BEST in customer service, you'll likely be able to use it! Good Luck, let us know!

I have used expired Kohls cash on 2 occasions with no problem-- in fact one time it had been expired for over a week. Their customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced.

I also let $20 in Kohls cash expire... yesterday. We got it shortly before going out of town (WDW) and got back LATE Saturday night. Planned on going Sunday, but I was in bed SICK all day and completely forgot (would've sent DH out if I remembered). Thanks to this thread, I will try CS and see if I can still use it!

I worked for Kohl's for 4 years at CS and in all the time I worked there, never once was someone turn away when asking if they could use expired Kohl's Cash, twice I was told by the store manager to take Kohl's cash that was more than 6 months expired.
