I cannot believe it!! I guess when we bought this for him via disney.com it had an expiration date and I didn't even realize it until tonight when I pulled it out to put with mine.. I was planning on taking him saturday to us it, but now it's too late.. I am soo bummed... I guess I learned a very expensive lesson... Check if the ticket expires..:guilty:

Oh no! I'm so sorry - but don't give up. I'm not sure when you bought this or what the expiration date is (did you just miss it?), but likely the prices have gone up since then. You could always take it to the ticket booth and offer to pay the difference from that AP to the current price. They may let you do that. Here's some pixie dust for you!:wizard: :wizard: It's worth a try. Good luck!

Just take it to the ticket counter. They will make you pay the difference between the price you paid and the price it is now.

Oh thank you.. Your pixie dust worked.... I just spoke with a wonderful CM and she said that the date on the ticket is used as a "guideline" only and that they will still accept the ticket at the gate :goodvibes I was warned that the CM at the gate might be new and not know the policy for this, so I would need to ask for a supervisor..
I have been sick about this all night  and now I am soo thankful. :goodvibes

I was sad that I wouldn't be at DL for the girls week but now I get to go with my hubby:hug:

I will be looking for all of those "wild" women sporting their T-shirts and LGMH's :dance3:

"the date on the ticket is used as a "guideline" only "

So they are adhering to the Pirate's Code, eh? :rotfl:

I'm so glad for you. I saw your post late last night and it made me so sad I didn't know what to say!

I'm so glad you'll still be able to use it! That would have given me a heart attack!

Too funny about the Pirate's code!!

Thanks Ladies... I could just imagine hubbys face when I had to tell him that we needed to pay another 170.00 for a new pass:scared1:

Whew..

It won't be a problem! We had something similar happen earlier this year. DH got a one day hopper pass free as a prize at work. We let his AP expire, because we knew we could use that hopper, and just upgrade, therefore saving us much more than the $20 renewal discount. So the weekend before the hopper expired, it rained like crazy and we didn't go. Suddenly on Monday, I realized WHY we "had" to go the day before. I totally panicked, now we had let the AP expire as well as this hopper!! What a big mistake! I too was totally sick with disappointment.

DH called DLR, explained- they said no worries, it's only a guideline. We went the next weekend, he was able to pay for the upgrade to an AP right there at the ticket booth. The CM even ordered his new AP (using his previous picture) right there from the ticket booth as well. He just had to go to Guest Services to pick it up.

Awesome customer service, I must say!!!!
