Oh No... another stroller question!

Why rent if you are taking one? Are you going to rent a "better" one? I think it depends on what you are going to rent, and if you are taking Disney transportation.

well, after everybody's suggestions. Call me crazy but I am thinking maybe to bring the umbrella stroller for the airport and plane and then renting one for when we are there... What are your guys thoughts on this? Am I am crazy? I found rental for 38 dollars?
I don't think you're crazy at all! I was just about to suggest that you bring your own for the airport.

we do not really use one at home besides going to the zoo and for that an umbrella stroller is fine. Yes, I hope it will be better and easier to recline for her to be able to nap. I was looking at using Apple Strollers. Yes, we will be using Disney Transportation.

Have you thought about buying one second hand that would work? I would feel like it would be a waste to haul it all the way on vacation, and then not use it... but if cost isn't a concern, then no big deal. We don't use a stroller anymore either, I bought the one we have to take to Disney. I feel like all the ones that rent are bigger and more bulky for using on the Disney buses. I don't think it would be crazy to do, if you want a better stroller than you have for the parks.

When we took our 20-month-old on a cruise last winter, I bought a Summer Infant 3D Lite stroller. My husband thought it was too big when I bought it, but by the end of the trip, we both loved it. It's easy to fold, reclines enough for nap, has a basket under the seat to carry some stuff, and has a decent sun shade. I pushed and pulled it through sandy beaches without a problem, and it was tall enough so that hubby, who is 6'3", didn't have to hunch too much. It's definitely larger than the standard umbrella, and heavier to carry of course, but it's the only stroller I use now because it is so convenient. I think I got it on sale for $60.

I am having trouble making a decision. I am wondering should I take a jeep umbrella stroller or should I rent one through a stroller service down at Disney? I see positives and negatives to both. My husband really doesn't want to bring a big one and said he only wants to have the umbrella stroller. Our daughter is 3.5 and normally likes to walk but I know she will get tired and need to get in the stroller after a bit... I like the thought of just bringing one and not paying the money but I know she will not use it at the airport so it is an extra thing to bother with at the airport. I "think" my daughter will sleep in the stroller so for comfort I would think the rental ones are better...but of course they are bigger than an umbrella stroller when you collapse it which is what he is complaining about. He doesn't want it to take much room on the shuttles....Your thoughts?

Order one from Amazon to be delivered to your hotel. You can get them half the price of renting and will be new. We always buy one from Walmart in Orlando for around $20 and leave it when we go home

This is what we did a few years back. We had 3 kids 5 and under and I was pg. It worked like a charm for us.
