Oh my! She looks awful!

you know some people are that thin. i think she might be. look at her face/ arms she isnt big boned she has fine features.

It looks to me like she has either an eating disorder or drug problem or both! NO ONE IS NATURALLY that skinny. Her bones are sticking out!

I think she looks anorexic and starving in a concentration camp way. She looks like she's getting the anorexia osteoporosis, too, but maybe she has rickets to go along with her scurvy. I hope they make her gain some weight before POTC 3. Maybe they could write an eating requirement into her contract.

I agree! Her chest is all sunken in like she is starving to death!!

Well, I could post pictures of me at that age or of my 15 yo dd. Both VERY healthy eaters and skinny with bones sticking out.

DD made a new friend at school and her mom asked the friend if dd "ate normally." She assured her that she did. I met the mother the following week and she was a girl I had known from the age of 6 all through high school. She told me she was relieved when she realized that dd was my kid--she knew then that she was just naturally skinny and didn't have an eating disorder.

Why are you all judging someone you don't know? :confused3

As someone who HAD an eating disorder and struggles with weight issues EVERY second of EVERY day, I am hurt for Keira and all the accusations people are throwing at her.

It is not a CHOICE to be anorexic or bulimic. It is a DISEASE! And you don't even know if she has it or if it's just her genetics, like some have posted, that keep her looking so thin and frail.

I have been in support groups with other girls that were bulimic, anorexic, over-eaters, etc. It's not just a decision you make to STOP being that way. It takes years of therapy to re-teach yourself how to eat correctly and how to SEE yourself correctly.

I still struggle every day of my life about every bite of food I take. For me, it is a lifelong challenge to make sure I eat and eat healthy foods, exercise and manage my weight. I do it because I want to live and be healthy and strong for my DH and children. But when I was a teenager I struggled with being overweight and not "seeing" myself correctly. I always see someone BIGGER than I really am - and that's where it becomes a mental health disorder. "Curing" an anorexic is not just about "giving the girl a hot dog!" It goes much deeper than that. Much deeper... :sad2:

It always astounds me that people in general feel that they can judge celebrities...they are people just the same as you and me, with their own stress, struggles, demons, etc.

I say leave the girl alone!!

OK - I'm off of my soapbox now.

Can't be too bad with you doing a marathon!

1/2 marathon. Please, let's not confuse those two. :teeth:

It could be worse but I'm telling you, running around with 5 more lbs. than needed gets heavy!!
