Yeah. That guy on the side! One quick lunge by the gator and it's lights out. And letting their kids get so close?! Whew. They were lucky. The gators must not have been hungry.

I have a cat that looks just like the brave guy. In our cat's case, he would just be too stupid to know it was dangerous. I love our Buster, but he isn't the smartest creature in the universe.

I saw that on CNN yesterday and they were saying that the people who were filming were tourists from Canada and that they were going to be taking a boat tour of the swamp. I'm thinking that the guy by the boat was the local.

Still, I don't know how he can get that close and turn his back on it. Those things move fast and it couldn't have had his leg in it's mouth in a matter of seconds.

Love how the alligator went into the water then came back out with a friend. Almost like he went and got reinforcements because the cat was bothering him.

I wonder if this was one of those parks that they have, where you can go and see the gators. Maybe they are not as wild as the ones found in the wild?

OMG! I'm appalled at the stupidity of those people. If they want to get mauled by an alligator, fine. That's Darwinism in action. But to expose the kids to that danger? Lunacy.

I wonder how long ago this was filmed. I just learned the other day that alligators do not eat during the winter because it takes to much energy to digest. If this is the case I wonder if the cat will survive the summer.
