Oh my freakin' God!

as most of you can tell form my username, i play volleyball. well, my dad is the assistant coach and the athletic director at our school gave us uniforms to pass out. so, we did and lets just say i am soooooooooooo freaking mad right now! well, in highschool, you have to wear spandex; reallllllly tight volleyball shorts. well, we have those and some girls dont wanna and are making a big deal about it and all that crap. (we're NOT in highschool yet tho!) but they're just shorts! get over it!

o and another thing i am mad about: the head coach asked my dad to put a lineup together so he did with a little help from me! but anyways, the lineup is good and we scrimmaged the younger team last night and tried it out and lets just say the girls were pissed! then, they approched me and said that they wanted to make their own lineup and i was like, yeah suuuuuure. NOT! they think that because MY dad put it together, they shouldnt have to follow it because hes not the head coach but the head coach likes the lineup so if they dont like it, screw em! they can quit for all i care!


please give me kind, calming words to settle down!

And the head coach should make the lineup and you should not have a say so in it unless you are the captain. Once you get out there, he isn't daddy anymore, he's the assistant.

Hey! I play volleyball too. I love it-I've been playing for 6 years & I'm on my high school team. About the spandex, well if the girls can't deal with it then why are they playing? Like you said, they're just freaking shorts. And the lineup thing...don't worry about the other girls...they could just be jealous because you're sort of on the inside. Maybe you shouldn't tell the girls that you helped with the lineup, or just don't help at all. Volleyball is incredibly fun as you know,and you shouldn't have to be taking care of other girls problems-just enjoy it!

Uh....you should see my marching band uniform.... we have to wear suspenders and pants that go above my bellybutton. Way above. Consider yourself somewhat lucky.

I'm in volleyball and band.... our band uniforms are way worse than spandex.

lol. well, we had our first games today. everyone wore the shorts. we looked pretty good in them too! usually, we have t-shirts then we wear black shorts but all the shorts are usually different. i can honestly say, we looked like a team! no one really complained about the lineups today so that was good. we do have a couple girls with major attitudes but we can handle them! today wasnt all that bad, i just hate people talking about crap that hurts everyone else mentally.



(o yeah, we won both games! in one game, we were down by 5 and i served 15 straight points! the 16th had too much power behind it! lol.)

Well first of all, I play volleyball too and it is so much fun!! And I absolutly LOVE spandex. Second of all, I think you should like talk to your team or somehthing and talk about the lineup together. like try to make it even or something. i dont know. But tell then spanex is one of the most comfortable things you could wear!!
