Oh man!! I had forgotten how bad ear infections hurt!!

Oh I am in utter misery!! I have ear infections in both ears. My left one is worse and my cheek and jaw on that side is swollen. I can't even hear out of that ear. I think I am going to croak!!! (insert whiny little boo-hoos here!!)

Oh I know just how you feel. Right now I don't know if I have an ear infection, my TMJ is flared up, or if my wisdom teeth are bothering me. The whole side of my face hurts along with my ear and even my eye! I took a couple days off of work so I wouldn't have to talk. It's a little better, but I guess I should call the doctor.

Is your balance way off? My Mom had a double ear infection a year or so ago and she couldn't even walk straight. She was bouncing off of both walls as she walked down the hallway. It looked kind of funny, but I felt really bad for her.

Oh, sorry your feeling poorly Kristy. I had one two years ago when I had strep throat. I totally understand why babies cry when they have them1 IT HURTS!!!!

My ear is killing also!! Dr. said I had a dysfunctional eustachian tube and flying home from Bermuda only aggrevated it!! Funny thing, I was a flight attendant for 10 years and NEVER had an ear problem!!!?!?!?!?!

He told me to use Afrin, but only for 4 days as it is addicted!!! It has been 2 days on Afrin and 3 days since it began hurting.........I hope it goes away sooon.............

Now i have sympathy when my girls complain of ear pain!!

Oh ouch, Kristy. I haven't had an ear infection since I was a little girl but I can still remember the misery. I hope you can find a way to ease the pain.

Do people still use warm oil for earaches? I remember that was about the only thing that could help me at all

I hadn't had any ear pain (altho many ear infections) since I was about 9 y/o! I also had forgotten how bad they can be. I was sitting in urgent care last month, holding my ear & crying! How embarrassing is that for a 40+ y/o crying ! I thought nothing could hurt as much as labor pains!!

Anyway, I was put on antibiotics & zyrtec & it cleared up for about 10 days & then it was back again! Pain not as bad but still bothering me. Went to my Doc & again, another round of antibiotics....then I was fine, for 2 weeks. It's back again & went to the doctor yesterday & he just told me to finish up the zyrtec (?) but he can't give me a decongestant (which is what I really need) due to my blood pressure which is out of control!

I don't imagine you can take much of anything either, being pregnant, right?
