... we just got back on June 5th and I want to go back --- we missed some of our favourite rides as we took it easy and got to the parks late therefore missed out on FastPasses

I think a re-do is in order but we have no WDW plans until 2013! Can I survive that long???? Hawaii is planned for 2012 but of course I've got a long time to wait to book since we plan on going in September of 2012.

Someone knock me out cold to make the time go faster How do you all survive the long lulls between trips?? I know I will survive but it won't be easy... I am going to try and sneak in a DL trip in Feb 2012; hopefully that will appease me in the short term.

Whose joining me in the 'I want to go back but can't and need to be consoled' group?

1) Spend time on the disboards (especially the photography board)
2) Listen to disney park music on mouseworldradio dot com

Hard fact is you will perish if you attempt to go that long between visits. Disney's like air - you need it to live. Buy more points now &Get planning!

3) Call CS and talk to them about this and that, just their voices seems to make you want to go back even more!!

The real answer is buy more points, I am suppose to plan for a GV trip next fall for 8 adults and we are about 200 pts short without barrowing. We are used to going 2 twice a year and I am messing around with going in April/May to DL for 4-5 days, cost about 120 points. Well that means I will be short 320 points for the 10 day fall trip.

So no help here!

HAHAH I phoned my hubby, think he was still in a sleeping daze and said to him, "So I was thinking..." it always starts that way.... "So I was thinking.... What do you think.... How about we.... You know, it's been x-months since we last..."

So we'll go to Montana in August and live vicariously through our son who will be attending college in Montana starting in August.

What school? My bride grew up in Whitefish Montana and I graduated from UM at Missoula. She loves WV because it reminds her of her home, even though she has now spent 3x as many years in Washington. You need go visit the wonderful lodges in NW Montana you will see where WV got it's ideas from.

Oh believe me Disney isn't our only vacation... I've got 12 trips to Europe under my belt, 4 to Central America, a few to Mexico... more trips that I could ever count to various places in Canada and the USA. I am specifically speaking of Disney trips here. Believe me my passports have had plenty of usage.

Native Missoulian here, though I live in Oregon now. Montana is so gorgeous-my eldest is in Missoula right now visiting grandparents, and I miss it a lot. However, I miss Disney more :/-think I have dh convinced to buy DVC soon. We haven't been since early last year, when we rented points to stay at Kidani and OKW for my 40th. No trips currently in the works . I need something to anticipate!

A friend just asked if we were going in Nov/Dec. I just don't see us going back until late in 2012. We have fun trips to Europe, Roatan and then perhaps when it is all over, DH work will send him to a conference at WDW again in late spring.

I have more than enough points but just not the money to keep going back. Also, I want to bring DS to Roatan to dive and see other parts of the world.

Oh I completely understand your pain... we have no plans to go back to WDW until 2013 too. There are some cruises planned between now and then but that's not the same is it?
