Oh help me my quest machine disappeared!

I was loading stuff into it (my other character owns it) and the whole thing just vanished along with all the prizes. Not in inventory - I hit report where it says Lost items and they said "use the contact us button, sorry" or something like that, so I sent it in to contact us.

Has this happened to you? I was trying to turn the machine on and it just vanished. AGGHH it took me so long to save enough for that machine.

If I can help with replacing your prizes, if they don't come back, I will do what I can. I have lots of buyables and in-park quest items. Depends what you filled it with. Fresh out of stitch stuff, haunted mansion, and that sort of stuff!!!

This happened to me once.

I looked in my inventory and it was not there. I sign out of vmk, signed back in, and it was in my "pockets." Look closely - as odd as it sounds, it is tricky to spot in the inventory windows.

Try signing out and back in. Hope it's there.

OK, that squares it. I absolutely have to get one of these! I would love a place to store all my extras of girl costumes! My DH's character can't take them, obviously, and I don't trust my daughter enough to have her hold them for me!

OK, that squares it. I absolutely have to get one of these! I would love a place to store all my extras of girl costumes! My DH's character can't take them, obviously, and I don't trust my daughter enough to have her hold them for me!

While it seems like a great closet - I have heard of way too many ppl who have lost large amounts of items through various ways while storing things in their quest machine. As tempting as it is - I doubt I will ever use it for that purpose.

Don't get your hopes up for this. You can't store girls (or boys) clothing in the quest machines. Only unisex stuff.

I am one of the people who lost items... 30+ rare pins by storing them in the Quest machine.

Wow this makes me think, if I ever get quest machine, I will never store stuff in it. I hope you get your stuff back. But don't get your hopes TOO high, that's why contact us is called the black hole.

Dara: While I did store some of my costumes in my machine, You can only put in unisex clothing. So none of my girl costumes can go in there.


I also only put in so much since I have lost stuff in a machine before. For my holiday quest, I loaded 150 prizes right before close and when I came back the very next morning to start, I found that there were only 128 prizes even though no one had done the quest yet.

So, as of right now, there are only 38 "prizes" or lines used. I also have 30,000 credits stored in that machine for "emergencies".

The WHOLE MACHINE disappeared, not just the stuff! Fortunately it was a beginners quest so the prizes were pins and common furniture and posters, etc - some money prizes (like 100 credits) but not much - Thanks Dara Sue for the replacement offer - I am not so worried about the prizes - Just want my machine back! Had to leave and am going to log on now and see if it has "returned"

IT'S BACK!!!
It was in my inventory and seems fine - quest is there - prizes are there.

Logging off and re logging on did it!

Glad you got everything back Peri.

Just a word of caution to all. A couple of months ago I lost a boatload of rare stuff storing items in the Kiosk. Of course I wrote a letter to the black hole, but received no response, and the items have never been added back to my inventory. So, just a little advice. Do not put stuff into the Quest Kiosk unless you are prepared to lose it.
