My neighbor (the reason I'm moving after seven years) is such a big pain in the you know what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His music right now is literally shaking the pictures off my wall. And it's not just Fridays, it's Mondays, Tuesdays, etc....'til about 5 am every morning.

My landlord won't do anything, she says it's too hard to evict. So fine, I'm out of here!!

But the shame is, I actually hate someone. I hate this kid. I hate him for all the sleepless nights, for the mornings I was late to work or couldn't go in at all 'cause I couldn't sleep. I hate him for making me uncomfortable in my own home. I hate him because he makes me dread my weekends because I know what's going to happen.

I can't wait until after I move and I see him out in a bar somewhere.
IT'S ON BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared: :thumbsup2 :lmao:

I used to have an upstairs neighbor like that. The lanlord finally did something about it after I put my broom handle through the ceiling early one morning and I made him (the landlord come fix it). Sorry you're forced to move. :(

I had a neighbor like that once. I couldn't complain to my landlord either because my landlord was her father.

:scratchin Well, I suggest that just as soon as his music stops, you turn on some music of your own. :thumbsup2

Turn it up nice and loud, make it something really awful like opera or country music (which I happen to love by the way).

Then go away and leave the music on all day long ;) (I recommend renting a nice quiet motel room for the weekend ::yes:: )

Repeat as necessary until the problem is solved. pixiedust:

Oh yes! Since I'm already leaving, believe you me, tomorrow morning at about 8 am, the soothing sounds of Slayer will be wafting through my apartment floor, to make his slumber ever more peaceful. :lmao:

We had a neighbor like that once and the landlord didn't do much about it. We finally called the police and that helped. If it's really loud, they can be cited for disturbing the peace.

Remember that you're moving! I understand very well how upset you feel right now and also how helpless in a way. But it will soon be over! :hug

Why wait till 8 am when he is already going to be awake. Why not 5 or 6 am.

No make it Lawrence Welk.....kids hate that stuff with a passion.

nothing like a good polka when you are young and trying to sleep huh? :rotfl:

I also had neighbors like this. They worked at Dunkin Donuts, so their alarm went off at 3:00 every morning. It was soooo loud. That thump, thump, thump music I hate so much. Then they'd hit the snooze button, pop off to work and forget to shut off the alarm. About 5 minutes after they left, the alarm would go off again and no one would be home to turn it off. It drove me crazy.

I feel bad for the person who is moving in behind you. :scared:

Honestly? I think you shouldn't allow yourself to Hate him. Because the hate doesn't hurt him at all. But it will eat you alive from the inside.

OMG. I was learning clarinet when I lived next to someone like this. I used to go practice relativly close to them. ;)

that's hilarious! great idea!

i used to have neighbors in college who would forget to turn their alarm off whenever they went on vacation (you know, weekend trips and whatnot). it ticked me off to no end. i'm too much of a wussy to do anything mean back to them though.

I shouldn't have read your reply while I was eating soup. Now I have to clean up this mess. :lmao:

This is a good one. Maybe you can add some barking dogs to this tape. :thumbsup2

I will send my oldest ds over. He plays a mean guitar and has a HUGE amp that could rock that guy right out of his bed.

My heart really goes out to you as we had a similar problem and we involved police city inspectors etc and finally had enough and we sold the house after putting $20,000.00 in upgrades to it but we made a great choice with wonderful neighbours who always show respect. :thumbsup2 Good luck as I know what you feel like. I nearly had a nervous breakdown and my DH and DS's nearly got into a physical altercation with this idiot (who happens to be 43 years old! :crazy2: )!

Have you called the police? You should file a report with them. Playing the loud music yourself sounds funny now, but that neighbor can just as easily call the police on you. I'd keep calling, every time the music is to loud.
