My mom's arthritis has been bothering her a lot lately. I'm planning a surprise trip for Dec but she is not fond of cold weather. I thought to go during the holidays would be very special but now I'm reconsidering. Should I wait until I surprise her in June to ask her if she wants to change the dates, or should I just go ahead and do it? And if I do change, it would probably only be back to November. Is there much difference in weather? This is important as I HAVE to have ent rate at HoJos or I can't afford to take them...and I already bought hoppers. Thanks in advance.

Here's the link to Hydroguys DL weather info. This should help.

We went last year in Nov and while we did need jackets at night, I thought the weather overall was very pleasant. I don't think the weather is that much different between Nov/Dec.

If you do go in Nov, make sure to avoid Veteren's Day and Thanksgiving. The week between the two is a pretty good choice. The Christmas decorations will probably be up by then, or at least almost all the way up.

Have a great time! I am hoping to surprise my mom and dad this year too :)

Looks like only a 5 degree difference. And November is tough due to my best friend's DD birthday, my DD's birhtday, avoiding Vet's weekend and Thanksgiving week... I guess I'll take my chances and find out what mom thinks when I surprise her.
