As you can see by our signature, we've been to all three Moderate Resorts (CBR, CSR, POR) as well as AKL and ASM.
We couldn't go to WDW this past summer because my DW was getting her Master's Degree (classes all summer she couldn't miss).
So we made the family decision to go back to WDW again in 2008 while our DD will be 11 years old. She's really into the whole High School Musical thing and she really wants to see the parade that includes the HSM songs and dancing.
So we needed to decide on a resort. The Luxury Resorts are out of our league. We didn't much care for the Value Resort "feel."
So a Moderate it is! But which one? For those who wonder which one to choose, I think they all are relatively the same except for theming. And there are little things that each one has that others don't but "all in all" it won't matter than much.
So we decided to return to Coronado Springs Resort! This will be our first repeat resort stay! We love the size of the pool, the wide steps all around it, the poolside re-fillable mugs, the lonnnnnnnng Jaguar slide, the beautiful shimmering lake views and super green grass, and the wide open and relaxing "resort" instead of "hotel" feel.
I think it's going to be a 7 Night/8 Day vacation with the Dining Plan. We'll hit the new attractions and rides we've missed during our year away. And we'll go on our old favorites. We might even go to the Hoop Dee Doo again to remember the old fun from six years before!
But I think we'll also spend a bit more time at the resort swimming and relaxing. And we think the CSR provides those lazy activities really well.
We're excited about going back! We just have to figure out our DD11's softball dates so we can book the trip for August of 2008.
