Offsite, UT tix, Magic Bands, and more ?s

A friend has offered his Orlando condo this summer (YAY!) and we plan on buying tickets through Undercover Tourist. How do we go about getting magic bands? Do I buy online and try to link them myself, or do we wait until we get to WDW? This is our first trip staying out of the bubble. Can I link a credit card?

1. Set up your MDE account.
2. Buy your tickets from wherever.
3. Link each of the tickets to the MDE account by manually inputting the ticket numbers.

Now you're ready to make your FP bookings at 30 days out. Magic bands are not necessary. You can use your tickets for both park entry and to enter the FP lines. If you want to purchase MBs, you can either buy them online from Disney and link them to your MDE account yourself, or you can wait to purchase them at WDW. The store CMs can activate the MBs for you.

If you are not staying onsite, you cannot have charging privileges. Charges are placed on your Disney resort account, which would have a credit card linked to it.

You can also use older Magic Bands if you have them. You just need to make sure they are linked and marked active in your MDE (if that's the path you want to go).

Many people like to buy custom magic bands online before they go. None of this will impact you making your FP reservations though. As long as you have the tickets linked in your MDE, you can schedule them and link the MBs at a later point.

Check out parksavers.com for tickets as well. I usually purchase from UT, but noticed that the specials they have had 7-day tickets lower than the ones I had purchased over a year ago from UT. :|
