Where's a good place to stay offsite, close to USF/IOA?
We've got three kids.

Thanks

Cheap? I have got Wyndham on Sandlake and I-Drive for $32 through Priceline. My kids said they liked it better than PBH. But they say that just to get under my skin.
Days Inn Lakeside <$30 with the McDonalds Travel guide.

I have stayed at the days inn off of sandlake and I was not pleased If a cheap rate with roaches and a smelly room than
be my guest. we stayed there the first time we went to universal. cheap is not all it is cracked up to be.

I love the embassey suites on Jamacian court. My absolute favorite. It is a two room suite with kitchenette , living room , and seperate bedroom they accomodate up to 6 people. They have free cook to order breakfast every morning. And a managers reception from 5-7 every night. (free drinks)

If you want to economize . Than I would suggest a downsized version. Try the amerisuites on universal blvd. It is a smaller sized suite with kitchenette and free continental breakfast every morning.

If you want something a little cheaper I would suggest the holiday inn on universal blvd. 8214 Universal blvd. You can purchase the breakfast buffet for the adults and the kids eat free. The entertainment rate for this hotel is 54.50 plus tax per night. You can book this rate up to one year inadvance on www.priorityclub.com This is holiday inns national website.

Depending on how far in advance you book your hotel room I would try this website www.hotelmartusa.com I have used this website many times and have no problem. Some of the rates I find here are some of the cheapest that I have ever found anywhere.

I would also check this website www.avistahotels.com If you go to the holiday inn on universal blvd they have room availabilities when the other sites do not. Plus You can reserve a suite with two queens , living room , seperate bathk, and full kitchen with dinnerware and silverware. I have seen these rooms and they are very nice.

If you want any other info feel free to pm me. I would also recommend staying south of sandlake. It seems to be a better area in my opinion.

In Feb05 we are staying at the Fairfield suites by Marriott. It cost me $60 for the suite through a Virgin Holidays. It also includes free breakfast and has had good reports.

Thanks for the help guys....we're considering going over to the
'dark side' for the Christmas Holidays instead of the mouse.
