I’m driving in on a Monday and will arrive mid-afternoon on a solo trip. I plan to attend Epcot on Monday for its later close time. Don’t know how interested I am in the EMH there. HS on Tuesday, MK on Wednesday and planning on EMH there and will flex on Thursday before I leave for home.

I can either stay offsite at a decent but inexpensive hotel Monday and Tuesday and move to the Swan to get the deluxe EMH or I can bite the bullet and just stay at the Swan the whole time. I’m going solo to try doing things DH doesn’t like to do—like change hotels to conserve money. But maybe I should just treat myself as DH doesn’t care if I spend the extra.

Also, Swan is about $15 more per night, but I’m thinking of it over the Dolphin as I don't need a big hotel with extras. I’m likely to spend all my time in the parks or sleeping. Any experience at the two hotels?

I've stayed at both Swan and Dolphin, they are just about my go tos for the last 4 or 5 years. I tend to stay at whichever one is less at the time, usually Dolphin. They share all the facilities. The beds are queen at Swan, double at Dolphin (since you are going solo that shouldn't matter). There is a sink outside the actual bathroom and another in the bathroom at Swan, one outside the toilet/shower room at the Dolphin. The Dolphin is bigger so getting around can be a pain. Some people like the Swan better because it is smaller and tends to have less conventions. I think it really depends on how you want to spend your money. Being able to walk to two parks is a huge perk of Swan/Dolphin. I have a solo trip planned for Dec. and am staying at CS because it turned out to be almost $600 total less than Dolphin but usually I can come out cheaper or the same by staying at Dolphin. I don't really care about the EMH hours as I don't spend all day in the parks and am going to be there 5 nights with an AP so I could even go to a park on departure day.

Are there tubs in the bathrooms?
