Offsite Review Sunset Lakes

So this is a mini review of what i thought of the villa that we stayed at mid april '08. (THIS IS TO DOUGS MOM very helpful and asked for a review when i come back)

ok so teh weather was pretty cool mid april to late april. we had a heated pool (not really heated had to complain several times) sunset lakes is a gated community it was closee to disney a lil far from sea world. our house was nice basically what you see is what you get from the pictures, we did like staying in teh villa compared to nick hotel which we stayeed towards the end of the trip. the location was a lil far from walmart and everything else. overall it was an OK location i would like something closer like formosa gardens next time, but it was easy access to all parks ( we did have to go thorugh the traffic though!) i found the home via homeaway and i got a good price 5 nights for 600 dollars including all taxes fees etc. it was a 4 bdrm house wiht 3 baths. it was in OK condition not perfect but pretyt good. any questions plz feel free to ask!

I'm puzzled... Sunset Lakes is 30 seconds from Formosa Gdns. Which Walmart did you use...there's three to choose from...one off US 27, one off Poinciana Blvd and one on US192.

Did you use Funnie Steed Rd? When we stayed on Sunset we could get to AK within 5 minutes by using it and staying off 192.

I was puzzled as well about this. Walmart on 27 is only about 6 or 7 min from that area and as you said FG is less than a minute. :confused3

Thanks for the review. I can see your point about being "far" away from Wal Mart. When we stayed at Windsor Palms, we thought that Wal Mart was a little far away, but the closer you are to a Wal Mart, the further you are from the parks. Looking at the maps, it is hard to tell how much further from the Formosa Gardens area Sunset Lakes is. I'll bet there is a quick back road to get there, so you may not have been as far away as you felt. I hope you had a good time despite the pool heat.
