We are thinking of traveling to Orlando at the end of July. We are weird and don’t go to the parks but love the Disney Water Parks. We typically stay at Bonnet Creek but are thinking of trying something else to help our budget. Any recommendations? Links to VRBO units are appreciated. We need to sleep 4. Being close to a pool is appreciated.

We almost always rent in Windsor Palms. They have 2 and 3 bedroom condos, 3 bedroom town houses, and 3-6 bedroom single homes (most with private pools). Some of the town houses have small pools also. And there is a large community pool. You're under 10 minutes from Disney property.

We either rent on VRBO.com or the community owners' site: http://www.windsor-palms-florida.net/

Windsor Hills might be a great spot for your family. Close to Disney, has a community pool and water park. You can find condos, townhouses and single family homes with private pool and spa for a very reasonable rate. www.welcometowindsorhills.com

My suggestion is to skip VRBO and book directly with an owner. VRBO charges a booking fee that you get nothing for. We always book direct with a Windsor Hills owner and have had great experiences.

I agree with this. I am currently looking to book a condo for next April. I looked at rates from VRBO on this certain property and they were quoting me $865.83 for 7 nights when I inquired with the actual owner of the property through Windor's website I was quoted with $715.05 for 7 nights and they stated that since I was booking for 7 nights they would take care of the cleaning fee.

I don't know if either of these would be available for your dates; but here are a couple I've stayed at recently. In December 2018 with my mom, sister and daughter we stayed here in Windsor Palms - https://www.vrbo.com/319061 (this one has a private pool and hot tub) and in May 2018 with my husband and kids we stayed at this one in Emerald Island Resort - https://www.vrbo.com/168289 (the pool is a short distance from the home).

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at either of these again. Both were great rental experiences and super owners.
