HI! I have not stayed offsite in 20 years. We always stay at SOG but this is a last minute trip and they are booked. I am excited to try something new.

Here is my info:

4 adults and DS7 DS6 and DD2
We are open to 2 rooms or 2 BR suite, We want at least 3 real beds (4 would be ideal but anything is fine for DD2. We can share.
Preferably less than 250.00/night.

We go to the parks in the morning and are usually back in the room by 3:00ish. Sometimes we go back at night but you never know.

We love fun pools, food, pool bar, kids activities, palm trees and all things tropical.
We will have a car.
We are eligible for annual passholder, Florida resident and Military discounts.

Thanks for help. I will be searching the DIS in the meantime!!

Check out the Lake Buena Vista Resort Suites...it sounds like it would have just about everything you're looking for including a really fun pirate ship pool w water slide, lively pool bar with snacks and adult beverages, and some rooms have views of both the EPCOT fireworks and Orlando fireworks! We stayed there last May for my BIL's wedding and loved it. We had a 2 br/2 bath suite with an outdoor patio. I believe the couch was also a pull-out bed but I'm not 100% sure. The suites also had a full kitchen, washer/dryer in the room, and lots of space for people & luggage. I'm used to staying on the DIS property, but I LOVED this resort. Less then 6 minute drive from the Disney parks and about 15 minutes from Orlando parks. You can see Disney Springs from most rooms as well.

Highly recommend! Have a great trip!

For your budget, you'll have no issues at all finding something. We always stay off site and rent 3 or 4 bedroom condos, never paying more than $75-$90/night. Use VRBO or AirBnB as your search engine and you'll find an incredible amount of choices. Look for places that are right off Rt 192, either just to the southeast of WDW or just to the southwest. There are pockets of dozens of nice places in those areas.

I second this... we stayed there in November 2015 and thought the suite was very nice and reasonably priced. My kids enjoyed the pirate ship pool and the bar by the pool is nice. The sofa in the living room was a pull out. We got the 3 bedroom and had tons of room for myself, my husband, my mom and dad, and 3 kids.

Thank you so much for the advice. I cannot believe how many options are open for those dates. I thought it would be crowded for Easter. We are playing with the dates right now so I haven't booked anything yet.

It will be crowded at Easter, quite crowded. However, there are an incredibly huge number of rental properties within 10 miles of WDW. I think supply far outweighs demand, so even in the busiest of times, you have little trouble finding a place. We've stayed offsite at Xmas and had no troubles finding a nice spot.

I dunno...haven't stayed at Bonnet, but if it's $200/night, I'd definitely pass. I cringe if I have to pay even half of that for a 3 bedroom.

Interesting. I thought 250.00 was being cheap. If I could get a 3 bedroom for half that I would be jumping for joy!
I need to do more research.

If you are interested in Bonnet Creek be sure to check out www.vacationstrategy.com. As of right now they do have a 2 Bedroom Deluxe for your dates and this close to check in can probably offer a pretty good discount. Good luck!

$250 a night is a fortune, in my eyes. We've done about 10 off site trips in the past 10 years, and I think the most I paid per night was $85 or $90. We always get a 3 bedroom condo, or even sometimes a 4 bedroom townhouse. VRBO is your friend, search there, you will find a ton of options for far, far under $250/night.

Stayed at an awesome place last time....very low cost...called the Summer Bay Resort...it is technically in Clermont, but I drove to Universal in 20 min (passing multiple entrances for Disney)....they have their own water park on premise, as well as a huge lakefron play area and many pools. so worth checking out!

Thank you for all the suggestions. Everything that has been suggested is booked. I keep calling every day for cancellations but no luck so far. Any more suggestions? I got a pretty good rate at the wilderness cabins and the value suite hotel but I really don't want to stay at either of those places.

Well you should be back from your trip....so tell us what did you decide on? Where did you stay? Would you stay there again? I assume you stayed offsite so what did the kids think about it?
