Offsite Options near Universal

Any suggestions for a nice resort/development near Universal Studios. There are 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids (7/9/12). Thanks!

Hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue is right off International Drive. Up the road from US. My kids love it there it has basketball court and pool. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. I like that have free hot breakfast that saves money. You get one bedroom or two bedroom suites too.
