offsite memory maker???

we are going soon to disney... can we get memory maker even though we are not onsite? is it just a case of purchasing memory bands and somehow they link it to our name? thanks

You do not have to be staying onsite. You do need a MDE account. If you don't already have Magic Bands, you would need to buy them and have them activated in order to automatically capture the ride photos and videos.

I know I am repeating a little but MM works great off site or on with the major difference being if you go on rides with videos (TOT, 7DMT) you need a band in order to get it to show up and also for your photo at 7DMT if you ride that since there are no monitors to view/tap at the exit. I love the videos and wanted them so I did get a band. It was super easy to link it to my MDE and it worked perfectly. .

thanks everyone.. we are going in a little over a month... should I just buy the bands on line and get them before we arrive.. or just buy then when we get to disney the first day?

You can do either if you do not want to wast your time at the park get them on line and you do not have to worrie about them not having the band you like

ok.. one final non related question.. I think we have park hopper for each day we are there plus water parks.. I'm thinking that was a mistake.. first time there with a 7 and 9 year old.. we are offsite.. can I get rid of the park hopper option? and if so.. where do I do that? online before or once we get to disney at one of the parks.. thanks

No, you can't downgrade a ticket that was not purchased as part of a package.
