Offsite Luaus?

Looking for offsite luaus as alternatives to the on-property one. I understand the one that used to be at Sea World was discontinued. It looks like Universal Studios still offers a luau. Are there also any others in the area? If there are several options, which would you recommend?

no it is at a hotel - like DIsney's.

the prices are about the same.

OK, so these are the two I already knew about. Does anyone know of any other luaus that still go on in the area? Thanks!

The luau is at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal. It does not require park admission. You can read about it on the Universal Site. Just go to Universal site click on hotels then Royal Pacific then restaurants and lounges. Look to center of page and hit the Wantilan Luau.

Then are the WDW and Universal luaus the only ones in the area?

there were many - but since the down turn - there appears to be only these two. even SW closed and their was pretty good.

Thanks... I'd seen that article a while ago, but thought someone here may know of other options. I guess there aren't any others, then.

If anyone out there is a luau entrepreneur thinking of starting a new luau, I hope you give it a try!

It looks like the Sea World one had pretty good reviews, and I'm sorry I missed it.
