Offsite Location With Lifeguards?

After a dozen trips onsite, I am ready to look into staying offsite to help reduce cost. However, I do not allow my children to swim in pools without lifeguards. (I saw my brother almost drown as a child and I have major water phobias so this is not negotiable!)

I have spent so much time researching and I can't seem to find anything that will work for us. We need a suite or a villa that will sleep 6 and that has lifeguarded pools. Is this possible somewhere that I am overlooking? Or am I stuck with renting DVC again?

Here's what I have experienced at a couple of timeshare resorts you can rent that will accommodate you nicely..

Wyndham Bonnet Creek has a lifeguard at its pool with the waterslide that slides into the pool. That pool also has a little splash area and they often have activities there.

However, they don't have lifeguards at all their pools. (they have 6) Of course, the pools aren't very deep either. For example, their largest pool, the pirate-themed pool, is zero entry on 3 sides and is mostly 3-4 feet deep. One tiny area is 5 foot deep.

We stayed at Marriott Harbour Lake a couple of years ago and they had lifeguards. They have two pools and a big splash park. It's an awesome resort as well, especially if your kids are on the young side.

Reunion Resort has lifeguards in the waterpark area with the slides, large pool & lazy river. They do not have lifeguards in the smaller neighborhood pools throughout the resort.

JW Marriott & Ritz Carlton, Marriott World Center, Hilton Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria all have lifeguards.
