Offsite hotel

Hi there. I am a newbie here.
I will visit the universal studio on feb
We will live off site without a car.
as double tree is full booking so we can't have to find other offsite hotel that we can walk to the park or take a taxi when we are really tired
We are thinking comfortable suite or holiday inn maingate
Which one will be better?

holiday inn maingate has mixed reviews.
haven't read much about comfort inn in the posts.
