Dh and I will be traveling with 4.5 month old and 5 year old. We would like to spend an evening out alone for dinner, but are reluctant to use an in room/house sitter. Would feel more comfortable using a facility instead. Can you use the resort facility? If not have you used any sitting services while in Disney? What did you think?

Yes, offsite guests can use the child care facilities at WDW (not at DLR, last I heard), but in your case only your older child is eligible. WDW facilities cannot take children under age 4.

I believe the resort childcare "clubs" are for resort guests but I do know they have a minimum age of 3 or 4 (and potty trained) so your infant would not be able to stay. I would think the in-room sitters would be your best best.

Threadjack a bit " How far in advance do you need to book childcare at the kids clubs? I notice some having problems getting reservations...I can only imagine what a pain it will be with 3 kids! We were thinking about getting dining premium but if i cant use the childcare option due to it being full then theres no point in paying for that plan.

The reservations are on the same schedule as dining reservations, and they are handled by the same phone operator.

I always make them during the same call, and contingent, so that I'm sure that I have care at the time that I am planning to eat.
