Offsite guest purchasing Memory Maker

We are staying offsite and I am planning on purchasing MM for our trip in early June. My sister and I will be sharing the cost, which is great. I have her listed/linked on my MDE account, so I know I am set there.

Do I need to get a Magic Band too? At least one, for me? Or, will we get all the ride photos/videos just using our MM card or ticket? And, if I don't get the Magic band, will I need to add the ride photos/videos after each ride. Just wondering what is the best option to get everything. And, since my sister and I are sharing, will the ride photos of her and her daughter show up under MM too? Do I need to "add" them too after each ride? It seems I have read that for 7DMT, we won't get the ride photos without the MB, is that correct?

This is our first time to Disney and may be our only trip, so I want to make sure I get all the photos I can of my 5 year old DD, and 4 year old niece.

To be sure...
Spend the $13 for the MB for one of you or (if you will be riding attractions SEPARATELY) buy two MB.

We will be riding all the same rides together, but will obviously not be in the same "car" together, because there are 5 of us-so we will be in separate ride photos. If I just get one MB for me, will both ride photos appear on MM?
