So i hate to be that guy whos asking more fastpass+ questions, but ive been searching for a while and havent really found the right answers. So here we go:

- If i buy a ticket in advance, say from the official Disney site, i assume i get printable tickets immidiately that i can use to book fastpass+?

- Will the above also work from Undercover Tourist tickets? Im from abroad so if i buy there ill select the pickup option and probably wont get the printable ticket.

- Are there any penalties for not using your fastpass+. I really dont like setting my entire vacation into stone and booking everything in advance and since i might switch days i might not be able to pickup reservations.

- Im really into the fastpass+ band which i can buy even when im offsite and link my ticket to. Can i also link my creditcard to it when im offsite?

- Will i be able to pay for parking with my fastpass band?

Thanks in advance for your time.

1. You can't print tickets ordered on the Disney site. Tickets have an RFID chip in them. Once you have your tickets in hand you can add them to MDE and book FP. However, except for Anna and Elsa FP, there is not a great need to book FP at exactly 60 days out (or 30 days out for offsite guests). Even at two weeks out you will be ahead of the vast majority of guests, and should have no problem getting FP times that fit your schedule. So having to wait for your tickets to be shipped is not a big problem (assuming you order your tickets far enough in advance).

2. Again, there are no printable tickets. If you use the pickup option with UT, when you place your order, you can request them to scan the backs of the tickets and email the scan to you. You can then enter the ticket numbers into MDE and book FP.

In either case, when you enter your ticket into MDE, be sure to enter any 0's as ZEROES not O's. There is no letter O in the ticket number, only the number 0. Alternatively, with a smartphone you can scan the ticket barcode with the MDE app.

3. I suggest doing this: (A) Choose which parks/which day based on the calendars at easywdw.com, then (B) make your FP selections for each park based on this post. I myself like using RideMax, which recommends time-of-day for FP+ as well as which parks/which day.

This way you at least have a plan. Then, for example, if you decide on Tuesday to go to MK the next day instead of AK, you're ahead of the people who wait until they arrive at the park to make FP selections. Plus you already have your MK selections since you picked them in advance; you just change them to a different day. Much easier than wasting valuable park time standing in line for a FP kiosk.

4. The band costs extra when staying offsite, and works exactly like your ticket (for admission and FP). It is a bit more convenient than having to find your ticket for admission and FP. However, you can't charge to it if you're staying offsite, since charges go to an onsite hotel bill.

5. Same as (4) for charges.

More information in this post.

Regarding #1 if you set up or have a MDE account and purchase your Disney tickets through this account the tickets will be linked to the account as soon as you purchase them and before you receive the tickets in hand. This will enable you to make your fast passes selections as soon as your fastpass window opens (30 days out).
