Dh and I enjoy dining at different ethnic restaurants and would like to try some dining experiences in Orlando. We would love to hear your recommendations for Vietnamese, Pakistanian, Indian or other ethnic restaurants in Orlando. Preferably ones that are easy to drive to from WDW, but anywhere would be okay. :D My mouths already watering just thinking of good food!

From Hotel Plaza Blvd. to Palm Parkway (a left at Hotel Plaza to a right at Palm Parkway) follow the road until it becomes Turkey Lake Rd. Cross over Sand Lake. In the K-Mart shopping plaza on Turkey Lake (right hand side of the road) there is a wonderful Indian restaurant. The food is extremely authentic, so be cautious when saying you like spicey! :) It is intimate, with excellent service and a fairly good selection of wine.

At the intersection of Turkey Lake and Sand Lake taking a right (heading toward the Dr. Phillips area) will bring you to several very nice restaurants. There is the Melting Pot (not necessarily ethnic, but fun) several Asian restaurants, seafood, Italian, etc.

These are all roughly 20 minutes or so from WDW property and you never have to use I-4! :)

Crazy Hakim, I know I will spend hours pouring over all the choices, thanks for the great sites.
:D :D

DVC~OKW~96, thanks for the personal recommendations and great directions. I can hardly wait to try them out.

Dh will be thrilled that I now have more great restaurants to try.

:D :D
