I've been looking around and have put together a list of popular offsite restaurants.
I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences of this lot for me to decide which ones to go to because i don't really have a clue.

Breakfast
Golden Coral
IHOP
Denny’s
Perkins
Cracker Barrel

Lunch/Dinner
Bahama Breeze
Red Lobster
Outback Steakhouse – (Bloomin Onion)
Chillis
Tony Romas - All you can eat ribs (I Drive) on Monday’s
Longhorns steakhouse
TGI Fridays
Sweet Tomatoes
CiCis - pizza buffet
Olive Garden

As you can see i have a made an attempt at stating the good things about each one but havnt really done a good job :goodvibes
If you feel i need to add one or take one away from the list, just say! ;)

Any help would be great
Thank You :thumbsup2

I would add Orlando Ale House, good cheap food and very cheap drinks, if you drink, we don't. Its a sports bar and lots of Americans eat and drink there. Sometimes we just go in and share a starter, chicken and cheese layered Nachos, 3 of us can't finish a $12 portion.
Texas Road House, a bit away from the main area but worth the drive (15-20mins from South Idrive), great steaks and ribs.
Had a few good meals at Black Angus steakhouse also.
There are more but I only landed back home about 4 hours ago, wishing I was in bed now.

I would definately take away Cici's pizza from the list. If it's the one I'm thinking of on I-drive, its a bit scruffy and I think there were only 4 different types of pizza to choose from.

We didn't enjoy Gloden corral last time but it was busy & the AC wasn't working! Denny's & Perkins are good choices both also good for lunches or cheaper dinners .IHOP we don't usually use for breakfast but again fine for lunch & dinner.Bahama breeze doesn't have a great kids selection so I wouldn't go back.Around the LBV area we would use Outback,Bennigan's,Uno's,Olive Garden,Kobe,Black angus & there was a new buffet style restaurant at the crossroads last time but can't remember the name-dearer than other buffets but better quality.
HTH SD;)

we love Joes crab shack on the 192 - just along from the turning to Celebration. It's really tacky (but, i kinda like that) but, the food is really good

Also - we really like Logan's steakhouse, also on the 192

I'll put in a vote for;
IHOP - i love the chocolate chip pancakes
Perkins - just plain yummy

They are everywhere now, saw at least 5 in past 2 weeks. They are not the fanciest of places but we enjoyed the food last year when we went to one at Crossroads, LBV. I believe they have to offer a mimimum of 16 pizzas, salad, pasta and dessert. It cost us $17 for 3 adults incl sodas. http://www.cicispizza.com/Menus_Menu.asp

We have never been a big fan of GC for same reasons but tried them again last week, the one at LBV, aircon was great and not as busy as expected for Easter week. Not somewhere we would go to time and time again but once a trip is OK.

Ponderosa for breakfast, and dinner!!! all you can eat buffet, we love it there, eat there every morning for breakfast, and most for night!

also houllians another good resturant.

golden corral, we tried as people loved it, but when we went there it was terrible sticky floors, bad waitress, cramped together tables, no diet coke left, food didn't look all that good to us either

Hi Tracy
Nearest one to you would be the one at LBV. Near Crossroads area. Address below, we usually eat at that one or the one near our friends house, Hunter's Creek Ale House which is also next door to Texas Roadhouse.
You can look at their menu here http://www.millersalehouse.com/
or direct download here http://www.millersalehouse.com/pdf/MenuPricesSm.pdf
They always have specials on drinks like Fosters lager $2/pint, alcopops 5 bottles for $6 etc.

I'd definately recommend Bahama Breeze, the food was amazing the desserts were huge and the cocktails- delicious! Its gets pretty busy though & you can't make reservations but we'll be going again in May. :thumbsup2

I am a ponderosa fan - been doing it for 10 years now and no problems. Absolutely no character but great steaks and buffet choice (and they are clean).

This year was the first year we stayed for an extended period on WDW soil and we discovered the golden corral around the corner. Ate their about 3 times and have no complaints about the food. Just seemed a little more rushed than the ponderosa and tables a bit more cramed in but I would still eat there next time.

One place definitely to avoid is the sizzlers at LBV (near the DTD hotels). Don't know about other sizzlers but this one was awful.
