Officiant emergency......HELP!!!!

Just found out that our officiant, Rev. Jack Day, is out following back surgery.

With less than 9 days left before the big day, can anyone suggest a replacement on such short notice?

Between this and all the hurricanes popping up, I don't know if I have enough nerve pills to make it through the ceremony.

I have heard about this from a few people. I went in search of previous posts and so people have been suggesting Rev. Tim. Apparently he is very nice and will include anything you want in the ceremony and will make you laugh. Your EM probably has information on him and other Revs that could take over. I think you should contact your EM as soon as possible and I am sure that they will do everything in their power to find you another Rev. Good luck! I am sure it will all work out magically!

I would recommend Rev. Tim if you can't get ahold of Rev. Day. Rev. Tim is very nice and helpful. He will do all kinds of ceremonies. I hope that all works out for you. Understand that things might be in an uproar after this weekend. Much pixie dust.

Another vote here for Rev. Tim. He is marrying us in December for our intimate and is so kind as to meet with us in two weekends when we head to Orlando for our planning weekend.

I also used Rev. Tim. The entire ceremony is a blur to me, but we have received many compliments on it from our guests Many brides have also used Rev. Knox and have been pleased with his services as well. Good luck finding a new officiant, and Congratulations!

Thanks to everyone for such a quick response. I talked to my EM today and she in turn contacted Rev. Tim and confirmed that he will be available Sept. 15. Another crisis averted. Now if someone could just steer Ivan toward the Yucatan penninsula......

Hi Medicmike:

We are using Rev Tim for our October 4 wedding. We met him back in April when we were at WDW for our planning session.

He is the best and works closely with Rev Jack. He will be sure your ceremony is just what you want and make suggestions on things you may not have thought of.
