Well I don't know if I would say that the maintence guy who came out to the house is an idiot or what.
I called them out cause the vent cover leading from the dryer to the outside of the house was falling apart (the plastic crumbled in my hand) and don't want to give those stupid skinks another way into the house.
So he comes out, looks at it & says I didn't know that plastic was biodegradable

(best smilie I could find of an idiot laughing)
So he says he's going back to the shop to try and find another vent cover............................................................................2hrs. later he shows up (Of course it's right before I leave to pick up #1DS from school) said he was looking for the part and couldn't find one. I personally think he went on lunch & forgot. So what's his solution? He Liquid Nails the falling apart cover to the casing Uh hello??!!?? the darn plastic vent is falling apart, how the heck is that gonna help?
I'm going to Lowe's this weekend & picking up a new cover.

No, no cleaning today. Well may pick up here and there but that's it cause tomorrow is the big day to clean
I have the twosome going to daycare for 5 hrs. ( had 5 hrs. of the free daycare left for Jan. & wasn't gonna let it go to waste) and plan on tackling their rooms. #2DS isn't too bad, just wash his bed linen and put the toys back where they belong (already have them in a tote cause I was sick of trying to step over them). Now DD's room is the BIG project. Gonna wash her bedding, put toys away, go thru toys and pack some away in a tote and put in her closet. Gonna try and clean out the closet too, but we'll see if I haven't collapsed yet by that time

I'm jealous! I want to put DD in daycare for 5 hours tomorrow I did more cleaning out again today...not fun but just needs to be done..ya know!

Hey Betsy! Come on down in October since "someone" only wants me to cook 3 days out of 7 I'll cook a big old breakfast for you!!! How does fresh hot homemade bread with eggs over easy, lots of yolk to dip your buttery bread into, crispy bacon and some hash browns sound to you?

We understand about you not coming back last night. It was probably nice to sit and watch a movie together. What did you end up watching? We just finished watching the DVDs of an old mini series, remember them? It was "Backstairs at the White House." It was written by the head housekeeper who was there 30 years and told allthe stories of each president and their first lady's and the kids, and their little quirks and personalities, etc. I found it really interesting. I didn't like history when I was young but this was really good. We got the DVDs from Net Flix.

We ended up watching Mr. Woodcock with Billy Bob Thorton. It was pretty funny but not the funniest movie I've seen. That mini series about the presidents sounds interesting. I did not like learning history when I was younger but lately I've taken a real interest in it.

I don't even know what to say about that When I did tech support and we were dealing with someone lacking in the brains department, we would say to each other...I've got an ID10T (when pronounced is ID TEN T) here which the person thought was some technical term about the PC but it really was just a nerdy way of spelling IDIOT!!!

Geesh, that was hard to explain, I hope it makes sense!

I was just teasing you. I don't want this big breakfast every day for a week, I'll gain so much weight doing that. I think English muffins, cereal, some of those pillsbury cinnamon rolls with the frosting (like a cinnabon) would be good one day, we'll find things to eat quick some days and a big breakfasts the other days.

I gotta say Tink, I do think the guy was an idiot, how would liquid nails fix a broken cover? If the cover was fine it would help it stay on but it's falling apart!!!! You can't use liquid nails for that!!!

Hey Mickie thanks, I DO have my priorities straight, when you weigh work agains DIS, DIS wins every time, lol. You can come to our pre TR on the CB, we have all good people there, so you can feel safe and feel free to post. We should start having some more to post now as we're going to start discussing our food ressies. We are each going to pick a restaurant for one night out and the rest of the time we'll cook at the camper at the end of the day. I was so overwhelmed when I went to allears.net and clicked on dining that I gave up. I'll let Sharky narrow it down to what places have food DGS will eat and then we'll choose our night from that list! LOL! Let her do all the work, muahahahahahaha!!!

Yep Betsy, we'll be making homemade bread the mornings we have breakfast, we love to do that when we camp. There is nothing like it with our eggs, we take that out of the oven while we're cooking the meat and then I do the eggs while it cools down enough for DH to slice it. It is so delicious. Then usually our 2nd camping morning we use the left over fresh bread for making french toast, which is awesome with that bread. Don't think with all of us eating, we'll have the left over bread for french toast though, lol.

So you were a tech support person. Wow you must have been good. I am so lost in that department that I sometimes feel like an ID Ten T, and that's probably what you'd refer to me as, hahaha!

I have to say when we go camping we don't really rough it. We have a fifth wheel with a bedroom with a queen size bed, have closets and drawers, a toilet, shower and sink, a 3 burner stove, oven, microwave, refridgerator freezer, air conditioning and heat, so though we go camping, it's not too tough to take, lol. I love it. YOu would like camping that way I am sure. Sharky can't wait and DGS loves our camper, he's been in it when we camp in their yard on visits and he is so disappointed when we fly up and dont' bring the camper, he says, "Mom Mom, wheres you house?" It's so cute!
