I remember 2014 in particular being very rainy. But even the hurricane Charlie that Orlando and Disney took a direct hit in 2004, didn't ruin the trip. We went to the park in the morning, buckled down, and even though it looked like Armageddon as it went over, the parks were open the next morning (all but AK). It was amazing actually. Ever since then, I don't sweat trips being ruined by weather. Mainly because we drive and don't have to worry about flight cancellations. Actually we left home a day early last year to avoid driving through the storm that hit the panhandle last year right before Labor Day weekend. Made the parks a lot less busy.
