we were able to get ressies for CRT for lunch. At the time I was thankful for that because I heard how hard it was to get in. My dd4 wants nothing else but to meet Cinderella. How does the lunch compare with the breakfast? It's also my 40th bday. Guess I want it to be a special day all the way around. Thoughts anyone?

I called Disney Dining about this myself, and she assured me that Cinderella is in the lobby at lunch beginning in Feb. and that the characters will come around to visit inside while you are eating. New photo package also going into play. When do you go?

Hi! We had Lunch in early September (my 30th b-day!) and it was very good. I had the Major Domo Pie and DH had ??? but he liked it. The desserts were delicious! The appetizers seemed like an odd mixture but we ate most of them. THe servers brought a little "kid friendly" appy for DD who was only 18 months and then a plate of buttered noodles but he also seemed to really rush us-probably not his fault-Im sure they are encouraged to keep everyone moving. B/c of the changes-I don't know if the menu is the same? Also-we had lots of princesses but now they said that it will be "Cinderella's Royal Family and Friends of the Royal Family" so there may not be as many. Good luck and enjoy

The menu for lunch is almost the same as before. Dinner seems very similar as well. There are not as many choices for dessert as before.

I'm still in the debating mode. We have an ADR, but I just don't know if I want to pay that for lunch. We may not be going again for some time, so I booked it. We have always done breakfast and I know for sure the breakfast isn't worth that price so I thought we'd try lunch. We had dinner there and it was excellent last year.

We loved CRT lunch in Sept., but we were on the free dining plan. Not sure how happy I would have been paying oop or using 2 credits on the dining plan....actually, I would not have done it either way. But if you are willing to pay for it, it is beautiful and the food was great. Loved the Major Domo Pie, and the blueberry buckler dessert. The dessert was good, not as fancy as I expected. It was like a blueberry muffin with a cream cheese center, served warm with lemon icecream melting on it...very good, but not fancy. You truly are paying for the atmosphere and experience of eating in the castle. We had a great waiter, Sir David, who rolled all of his "r"s and Lord this and Lady this, but I played the part, calling him Sir David, and trying to talk in royal tones, with thees and thous, so we had fun. The princesses were beautiful, although they seemed a little rushed, but Snow White was the real thing, right out of the movie :flower: We adored her! The dining hall was beautiful.

The downside was that we had to wait in the tiny downstairs lobby for over 45 minutes, and there is very little seating there. The fairy godmother was not the friendliest character, but did her job of posing nicely; reminded me of Santa at the end of a very long day ;)

We were glad to do it once, especially for dd8, but problably won't do it again with the increased price and fear of another long lobby wait. :goodvibes
