Can't you still buy tickets if you didn't run the half?I wish the after party was just a separately paid event for everyone, especially now that this is a morning race.

Dies the person running the HM have to be the one to purchase extra for friends/family or can anyone purchase?Yea you can. I’m griping about having to pay for a party that I’m not going to attend. Hopefully they still make it easy to assign someone else to the ticket.
Saw in a FB group someone mention they updated descriptions so went to rundisney and found these:
"Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon featuring Chef Mickey!"
10k is "in an exciting race celebrating Chef Louis & Sebastian!"
" Disney Two Course Challenge hosted by Lumiere. "
5k is "celebrating Chef Tony from "Lady and the Tramp." "

Wine & Dine has always been the most expensive half since it includes admission to the after-party and a small gift card.I might have missed this but did the prices go up? I paid $180 for the WDW Marathon in January, and the Wine and Dine Half is $200? Seems odd that I am paying $20 more for half the distance.
Let the conspiracy theories beginThat's weird.
Well they already have my money. They have dates announced, and themes announced. Other than the courses I am not sure what they could do.Let the conspiracy theories begin

How soon do y'all start making hotel plans and the like? I'm local so I don't typically plan run weekends like "vacations" but for this one, I'd like it to be a celebration of meeting my training goal! I'm planning on doing at least one or two nights in a hotel and bringing my parents to Food & Wine for the first time.
Do the hotels fill up quickly this early? Will I get "better" pricing by booking earlier? Any moderate hotel recommendations - Disney or non-Disney?
I'm excited AND a planner, so...![]()
IT issues maybe? Well that sucks hope I can make it in for the 10k with the masses on Tuesday or they still have slots open come 8pm Monday (or my sister can log on with 3 different active accounts) I purposely took off the 8th and 13th to be on at noonI agree that it’s very strange to push back a registration though. What do they still need to do to get it “ready”?
Yeah you could totally do it on a phone.I’m so bummed. I took a sick day tomorrow, being legitimately sick, and I thought at least I’d be able to register through DVC. No such luck.
On a related note, is it possible to register on a phone as opposed to a computer or iPad?
