Official Wine and Dine 2016 thread

WOW thank you so much. I would have completely overlooked that continuously. Been there several times before and didn't realize that was the link for those tickets.
When I enter my dates and accept the disclaimer, the next page doesn't have a link to purchase. Did you get tickets?

Does anyone know if you get three shirts for the challenge (10k, 1/2, challenge) or if it's just one? I know you get three medals just wasn't sure on the shirt part.

So for the next race, my husband and I were talking about doing a charity registration. Has anyone done this? We were thinking that would be a little more fun. However, we are DVC and AP so we wouldn't get rooms or tickets. Do charities still do this? And how much do you generally need to raise?

Yes, you get all 3 shirts!

Yay for everyone getting in, hope everyone gets the races they want. Crazy how stuff is on HOLD, with all the switching to morning I didn't think the half would go on HOLD as quick, it's opening back up a lot, but still surprised!

I am on the email list for the ASPCA...here's what they sent out yesterday for Wine & Dine to give you an idea:

Is the post race party included with the half registration, or is something we have to sign up for separately? I didn't see an option for it.

I got myself in for the 10K and my kids for the dashes. Just bummed I couldn't get DH in for the 10K also :( I was in the queue right away but it crashed just as it was getting close to the end. I saw it go off hold once and when I clicked on it I had to transfer to his account because it was on the browser I had mine on and by the time I switched, it was too late :( I feel so bad because I had to break it to him at work that I couldn't get him in

Awe, so sorry to hear that! Perhaps try one of the charities! They may still have it available!

Call DH back and let him know there's more than one way to skin a cat!

Option 1) Sign up through a charity. Yes, you'll have to raise some money to cover it and that can be tough, but only one of you has to and there is lots of time to hit up his friends, family, and co-workers.

Option 2) Get on the mailing lists of the travel partners. If you signed up through one right now, they will require you get lodging and tickets through them. HOWEVER, after a couple months, they will start receiving stacks of bibs that they can sell by themselves.

It ain't over yet!
