I'm going to wait until my Augusst trip is paid for or untl my bonus comes in (which goes to the August trip first) or until I somehow come into more money. I'm aiming to register by the end of June like I did last year, but I'll try to get me and BFF registered sooner.

I am just wanting to know what the host hotels are for this race... I am just dying to book my room and know what hotel i am staying at!! I would love for the Poly to be one of the choices again!

I am not registering today, b/c my mom is away for the weekend, and we want to do it all together, but as i said, i am most interested in the hotel info. LOL (Hey, i plan backwards.. LOL)

I am planning to run the Princess 1/2 too!!! It will be my first ever race, and I'm not going to lie, I am a little freaked about it! I just talked to DH, and I think we are going to do the Everest too. It would be a good half way point to my training, and it's DH's birthday weekend too! PLUS, we'll get to use the military offer for park tickets that weekend. Woot Woot!

I am definately skipping the "party" this year, I mean, i LOVE disney, but let me tell ya.. that "party" last year left LOTS to be desired. I mean, for the money we forked out for registration and party tix, you wouldn't think we would be handed lil' baggies with "Pirate & Princess" party logos on them!!! I felt like it was just to use up the extra stash they had when they cancelled the P&P party, which i thought was pretty lame. They should have done something special for the 1/2 marathon.
And the lack of stuff open to do at DHS for that amt. of money, was poor. We would have been better off going to EMH at the MK that night, hands down. So, i don't think we will be doing that "party" again!

Perhaps it's just too early
If bookings pick up later in the year for hotels they might bring them back??
I know its not up to Disney Sports, but it would be the iceing on the cake for me with this race.

Will you pick a different one each year to get all the different colored bibs??

I honestly didn't think of picking a different princess each time, but that is a good idea!!!

I ment the normal hotels not race ones...sorry!!
If bookings go back to normal we might see the MK P&P parties back, that has nothing to do with Disney Sports.

oh, i gotcha.. lol.

Well, they already are stating a "Happily Ever After" party.. for the post race event.. but, they would have to SERIOUSLY rev up the party for me to get tix. LOL And, i won't decide til it gets closer and they release the details.

Oh, and did you see, they are giving Kodak single use cameras to all 1/2 participants this time?! I LOVE that!!! I was wishin' i had my camera last time, but my digi camera is just too big to lug around.. so i think this is a great alternative!

LOL ya, that movie doesn't come out til Nov or something right?? Maybe i will pick her just for the heck of it.. LOL From the commercial of the movie it looks like she is street smart with a lil' attitude..(if i remember the preview correctly, please someone correct me if i am wrong!!) so maybe that is who i should choose! LOL

I saw the camera, at least they didn't put the price up to cover it!!!! Also you can get a refund if you do not want the magazine, I think thats good for the non US competors.
