I'm guessing that Bob is not trying to trick Corinne into thinking there is another idol, but rather, "explaining" to her where he got the one he gave Randy. This would cast the blame on the person he said hid it around camp (can't remember who right now) and she would think he was innocent (or at least cast doubt on his guilt) if he makes it to finals. It looks to me like the cloth he's holding is empty. He's too smart to think that Corine would fall for the same trick twice. I would love to see he and Sugar in the finals!

I couldn't believe that Jeff threw the fake idol in the fire. That was something to be proud of and would have been a great keepsake. If I were Bob, I probably would've tried to dig it out of the fire. I can't wait for next weeks show. But, I imagine with a house full of people celebrating Thanksgiving, I won't be able to watch it until they put it online.

Thanks for the link! I hope that Charlie and Marcus are able to do Amazing Race; I love Charlie's personality: so upbeat and congenial. Although I do understand the animosity towards Randy, it seems at least one of those who will be in the final three would have understood that a little restraint at TC would possibly provide them with one of the votes necessary to win a million (especially since it could be as little as three votes to win). Since the five Suvivors now in charge, Ken/Crystal/Matty/suzie/Sugar, would have at the most two votes from their friends, cultivating votes from those who are jurors is important. They all seem to forget the goal is the million; no realization of the importance of delayed gratification.

I just read the script from Gabon Insider on Survivor Sucks and he sounds tragic. He was talking about still being heart-broken over the death of his dog (five years ago). I think he is best described as "sadly pathetic".

I was very glad to see Randy go - he got on my nerves and struck me as a mean, small minded person. And tribal council was funny. It will be interesting to see how it goes from here. This is definitely the best season in a while. I'm hoping Bob can hang on a while longer - he's my favorite. I do like Sugar - I think she is a lot smarter than she comes across. I have to go out of town next Thursday for Thanksgiving but plan to leave my mother's either late enough to watch there or get home early enough to watch (two hour drive).

The next week I'll have to find out on line what happens - I'll be in WDW and not even Survivor gets in the way of Disney!

I thought about doing that but DD has a schedule and she is very OCD. It is Illuminations night. Although if I am tired I may just tell the teenagers to stay at Epcot by themselves and DH and I will go back to the room for Survivor. By the end of the week I am beat anyhow!

I never liked Randy from the start so I was busting a gut last night when he was presenting the fake idol to Jeff! That episode will be one of the funniest moments from Survivor...ever!

I'm rooting for Sugar to win!

I absolutely cannot stand Crystal. She gets on my last nerve and you can barely understand what she is trying to get across when she speaks.

Ugh, me neither. Nor can my DH. We're always like "huh??" after she speaks. And, she's a *****. But it was pretty funny when she spoke loudly when she was voting.

We have had numerous meetings with the videographer and she is so excited and concerned that everything goes into the video as planned from baby pictures through their honeymoon. She is a lovely person as anyone would be working in the field of WEDDINGS. BUT Randy.....I just canNOT see it at all. He is so miserable.

Me too. This gave me a real perspective, and in a most hilarious way!

I would LOVE to be at a tribal council, just to see what it's all really like. They should show an unedited uncut version online someday.

I don't know that they could--I've heard they can run for hours, but we only get a few minutes. Not to mention, there would likely be a LOOOONNNNGG pause while someone backstage orders the votes!

Yeah, last years was just a stick. Bob's was a great fake. That would have fooled anyone. I thought it would have made a great souvenir. And don't they auction off a lot of Survivor memorablia at the end of the season for charity? That would have brought in a pretty penny I'm sure.

I also was wondering if it was just the camera angle that makes it look like the idol went in the fire. If it is a "gas" fire, all Jeff had to do was toss it off to the side and in our view it looks like it was in the fire. I hope they do auction it off for charity in the end.
