I don't know but I WILL be calling tomorrow morning at 7 am to find out! Thanks for the tip, rumor or not it's worth spreading the word and a call!

If I do get reservations I will let everyone know! (I will let people know either way!)

ADDITION: also I just played around with online reservations for SciFi Dinner and tired to get a lunch set up for 11 am (which is the earliest they normally take lunch reservations) for my SWW days and they said no tables available until after 12:30... so I am wondering if that is a sign?! OR wishful thinking that it is a sign on my part... either way I am calling tomorrow.

They were doing surveys last year that hinted to character meals during sww. I just went all over the HUB and couldn't find anything but I don't doubt that its a good possibility

If this is true it would be great...just logged on to MDE and for the weekend of May 30th neither location has any available reservations. I wonder if they are holding some for this event, but I highly doubt it.

This is one time I hope I will be up before 7! But I'm giving DH the number as well, since he will be up way before that! Hopefully he can handle the responsibility....

So, let's say the SWW character meal rumor is true. DH and I already have ressies at Hollywood and Vine for dinner on Sunday May 18! I really hope this is true because that would be SOOO awesome!

Fantasmic! will be done at 9:30 and you'll have 15 to get out of the theater and close to Hollywood Blvd. You should be ok, but depending on the amount of people leaving F! there could be a wall just stopping right before Hollywood Blvd. Your other option is watching the fireworks at 9:45 and catching the 10:30 F! this can be easily done if you stand in the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Sunset

I'm wondering how you guys think the character breakfast at The Sci Fi would work....Do you think the Stormtroopers and other Star Wars characters will walk by the tables and take pictures? How would that work in a dark room like the Sci Fi? They are playing Star Wars clips on the movie screen. Would you even be able to enjoy that, or even be able to eat at all if all those characters are walking by? Seems pretty tight in there to have Stormtroopers trying to walk thru LOL!

I first saw this posted on FB around 4:30 this afternoon. Multiple people who commented on the post called Disney dining to ask about this. All responded saying that the CMs confirm that this is able for booking beginning tomorrow morning.

My Sci Fi lunch is one of them that was cancelled last week because it was during the 11:00 hour. We are looking forward to trying this. We'll be booking early tomorrow.

That is very cool! I had been thinking how cool it would be for them to show SW on the drive-in movie screen at Sci-Fi! I have a 4:30 lunch scheduled there on Friday, May 16. I guess this also answers some issues I had heard elsewhere on the boards where people's ADRs had been rescheduled without explanation.

Thanks for the info! Now I'm setting an alarm, I can't count on the baby waking me or my husband remembering to call! This will make my sons trip, I'm even willing to stay longer to get a full second weekend if need be. So freaking excited!

I was 11 when Star Wars came out and I was crazy over Mark Hamill, so finally seeing him in person would be a dream come true.

I was 9 when the first one came out! I really liked Luke in the first movie, but I think my first "real" movie crush was on Han Solo when they froze him at the end of Empire.

I am not going to be able to sleep tonight! I am so nervous about getting this reservation if it is true. This would make my sons am probably my husbands trip to have breakfast and have Darth Vader there. I should not be sick to my stomach about making dining reservations. Lol
